After dropping Kendra home, Jason managed to sneak back inside and get back in bed as if he had never left. It was 1 am. The house was so quiet you could hear a pen drop, a marked contrast to the racing thoughts in Jason's mind. This time though, his thoughts were racing for a good reason, as it continued to replay the moments he shared with Kendra. He couldn't believe she actually took a chance and snuck out with him. She was a good girl and it was never his intention to corrupt her. He felt a little bad that he influenced her to do something out of her character. What if she had got caught?

Nevertheless he was grateful for the time they got to spend with eachother. Being alone with her in the calm of the night was soothing for him but it also ignited a fire inside him. He never knew he could feel so tempted around a girl. Thoughts of what it would be like to make love to her under the stars ran through his mind as he laid in bed, willing himself to push the thoughts away. This was going to be tough, he thought to himself. She wanted to save herself for marriage and he respected that, but  every curve of her body was calling to him. He couldn't take his eyes off her plump lips, her dark doe eyes, her caramel complexion, and her kinky coils that hung down to her breasts that he also admired. Damn, he thought. He needed a cold shower.

It was Sunday morning. Jason heard the front door open and heard his mother chatting with a male voice that he recognized to be his Uncle Brantley's. Jason sighed. He hadn't seen him since the altercation at the shop. Jason had not returned his or Evan's calls.

Jason got out of bed, brushing his teeth, washing his face, and putting on clothes. He might as well, as he knew any minute now, his mom would be knocking on his door, asking to talk. Just as he said, his mother knocked on the door and called his name.

"Jason?"

"Yes"

"Hey Uncle Brant is here. We need to talk."

"About?"

She sighed. "Jason. Please come to the living room so we can talk" She motioned with her hands.

Jason followed her into the living room where his Uncle Brant sat on the couch, offering a half smile as Jason approached.

Jason forced a smile and took a seat on the couch across from his Uncle.

"So" his mother started, rubbing her hands over her pants. "Uncle Brant told me about what happened at the shop yesterday. Why didnt you say anything when you got home?"

Jason sighed. "Because I didnt want to talk about it. I just wanted time to clear my head".

"...OK, but we're a family and your uncle has a business to run and its not fair for you and Colton to be fighting on the job".

Jason was silent. Here we go, he thought to himself. He was tired of explaining himself.

"Let me say something." Brantley started. "Me and Jason talked after the altercation they had and I understand why Jason was upset. Colton said some very hurtful things to him and I called Colton out on it. I just need to know how you two are gonna move past this. You're family. And I need to know if you plan on coming back to work next weekend."

Jason shook his head. "I dont know."

"Jason, we need more than an 'I dont know'. I need to know if I need to hire someone else. We're already short staffed. And honestly I dont want to have to do that. You're great at what you do Jason and I know you love doing it".

"Im not sure Unc. All I know is I cant be around Colton".

"Jason?? That is your cousin" His mom said, wearing a look of disappointment on her face.
