november was sad.

she wouldn't be seeing niall for a month and she just wanted to hop on the plane with him and stay with him and his family.

they sat in the LAX airport, hand in hand, sneaking gentle kisses here and there. november was trying her hardest not to cry, but she had grown so attached to being with niall all of the time, which she was worried about.

she knew it wasn't good to become so attached so fast, but she couldn't help herself.

"i promise i'll skype you every chance i get, even though there's an 8 hour difference," niall kissed her cheek.

november nodded sadly, resting her head on his shoulder. niall's flight was leaving soon, so she was trying her best to cherish each moment.

"flight 342 now boarding."

"that's my flight."

niall stood up, wrapping his arms around november. he rested his chin on the top of her head, rubbing circles into her back with his other hand. november started crying into his shirt, pulling away and stifling a laugh when her mascara was smeared over the spot where she was crying.

"hey," niall placed his hand on november's chin, lifting it so she was looking at him, "don't cry, okay? i'll be back soon."

november pressed her lips to niall's for the last time in a long time, telling him how much she was going to miss him, and for him to text her as soon as he lands.

she let go, wiping away her tears and moving her hair out of her face.

"november i-"

"just text it to me," she smiled sadly.

"no i can't text this to you i have to tell you right now. this isn't something you say over text."

november gave him a confused look. she didn't want him to leave, but if he kept standing there, he was going to miss his flight.

"i love you. i can't just sit around contemplating wether or not to tell you. i love you, i love you, i love you," he breathed.

november stood frozen in place, not knowing what to say. they had only been dating for two months. to her, it was way too soon to tell each other they loved each other, but some people fell in love in only a month, or a week, but november was scared. she didn't want to fall in love only to have her heart broken months later.

"please say something," niall pleaded.

"you need to get on the plane. you're going to miss your flight."

"but-"

"niall, please, just go," she kissed him on the cheek.

"no, please don't leave me hanging like this. i mean it, nov. i love you. i know we've only been dating for two months but we've known each other for eight and i get it if you don't feel the same way, but my feelings are genuine, and.. i don't know what else to say."

november shook her head, being interrupted by the airport speaker, "last call to board flight 342!"

"you need to go," is all she said before giving him a quick hug and leaving him standing there, heartbroken.

it had been a week since niall last spoke to november, and he has never felt more depressed. he didn't regret telling her how he felt, because he couldn't keep something like that away from her. he hated how she reacted, though. she could have put him down easier than she did.
