"i'm craving in n out's animal fries. we should go get some."

november, bri, and alexa sat in the dorm doing their homework. bri didn't understand how to do her algebra homework so november was helping her with that, and alexa was doing her own thing.

"focus on your work," november chuckled, "we can get some when you're done."

"but baby wants some now," bri whined.

alexa flipped the page in her book and wrote things down, trying her hardest to not pay attention to the two. everyone agreed that ever since she started hanging around luke, she's become a totally different person, but if her parents found out she was spending her time around boys instead of working on her school work, they would practically disown her.

"bri, you only have ten more problems to do, then we can get you and baby some animal fries."

bri pouted, but didn't fight her friend. even though all she could think about was food, she managed to finish two more problems before her stomach began to growl.

"nov-"

"here, why don't you have alexa help you? i'll go get us some food. i'm assuming you want a vanilla shake to dip the fries in?"

alexa made a disgusted face but closed her book, "yeah, bri, i'll help you."

"how are you gonna get there and back?"

"uber," november began looking up the address for the nearest in n out burger and put it into the uber app, "he'll be here in ten minutes. i better start walking to the parking lot."

she kissed bri on the cheek and then her belly, making bri blush. alexa waved goodbye and watched november leave the dorm. she didn't agree with her taking uber but she didn't exactly have a car, so she shrugged it off.

"what part of this don't you understand? it's review," alexa eyed all of the math problems that weren't finished yet.

"i just don't get it. can we not do these right now? i wanna know about you and the mozzarella stick," bi paused, "now i'm craving mozzarella sticks."

"you mean luke?"

bri nodded, "i just forgot his name. what's the deal between you two?"

"we're.. friends."

"friends with benefits?"

"no, of course not. you know i don't believe in sex before marriage," alexa frowned.

"have you guys kissed yet? hugged? made any sort of physical contact?"

"of course we've hugged. what kind of question is that? i swear you and nov have no faith in me."

bri's stomach growled again, making her whimper. she had never been this hungry in her life, and now that she was eating for two she was hungry all the time.

"it's because you're the sweet, innocent christian girl who has no experience with boys whatsoever. or, you were.. i'm not so sure anymore. you've been really suspicious lately."

alexa rolled her eyes at that. it wasn't like she had no experience. yes, her and luke had kissed, but that was it. they weren't even technically dating yet, which made alexa feel rebellious. she wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend until her freshman year of college, but her very first boyfriend ended up to be an asshole and only wanted sex.

"i just want him to ask me out already. are all college boys like this? they mess around with girls' feelings and lead them on?"

"most of them, but not all. trust me when i say i've been in a lot of relationships, but i think this is the first one where i've actually admitted to myself that i'm so hopelessly in love. julius can be an ass sometimes but he's great overall. honestly, i think the only reason he's being so calm about the baby is because his momma was in a similar position when she was pregnant with him, except his father left them."
