november had niall drive her to bri's dorm, even if it was 11:00 at night. niall still didn't know what was wrong, since bri told november not to tell anyone.

niall held november's hand as they walked through the lamp-lit campus, students giving them funny looks. they were in their pajamas, so november didn't blame them.

once the couple were in bri's dorm, november gave bri a tight hug, rubbing her hand up and down her back. she's dealt with this before with some of her cousins, so she wanted to help bri as much as she could.

"can someone please tell me what's going on?" niall sat on the edge of bri's bed next to alexa, who november was keeping an eye on.

"do you mind if i tell him?" november asked. bri shook her head in response, too busy crying to actually speak.

"she's pregnant," alexa answered for her.

niall tried his best not to react in an inappropriate way. he couldn't imagine someone he knew being pregnant at 19. he knew some people could handle it, but he knew for a fact bri couldn't.

"what are you gonna do? are you keeping it? does julius know?"

"n-no. he can't know, nov! he'll kill me!"

bri rested her head in the crook of november's neck, tears getting all over her shirt. november had never seen her like this, because bri was a strong independent black woman who was better than this. she knew bri partied, but she was always smart and always used protection when she had sex.

"this is why you wait until you're married to have sex! why does no one listen to me?" alexa scoffed.

everyone in the room gave her a dirty look before bri began to cry again. "it's my fault the condom broke. i'm so stupid. how could i have let this happen?"

"it's not your fault it broke, bri. these things happen and you're going to need to tell julius sometime," niall commented.

"niall's right," november moved a strand of hair out of bri's face, "do you know how far along you are?"

"two months. somewhere along there, i don't know. i don't know what i'm going to do," bri wiped her tears and let go of november.

alexa tried her best not to stare at niall, who looked like he was about to throw up. she looked at november, then to niall again, but quickly looked away when he caught her looking.

"you're two months along and you just found out? didn't you miss your period? morning sickness? anything?"

bri shook her head, "my period has always been bipolar, i just shrugged it off. as for morning sickness, i've thrown up once or twice but that's it."

"how are you supposed to finish school?" alexa said, "how are you going to support this child?"

"why don't you mind your own business little girl?" bri snapped.

alexa didn't reply, she just stood up and crossed her arms over her chest, "i don't understand why you all are so rude to me. i'm nothing but nice to you and you treat me so horribly! just because i'm faithful to my religion doesn't mean you should bully me!"

she stormed out of the dorm and slammed the door, making niall flinch.

"you need to tell julius, bri. you're going to start showing soon and then what?"

bri placed a hand on her barely noticeable bump. julius was a nice guy but she knew he wouldn't take responsibility for their child.

"what if i got an abortion?"
