november was enjoying her time at home with her family, especially spending time with her aunt, ariel.

ariel was 8 months pregnant with her and her husband's child, which they were both excited for. there were times where november was jealous of their relationship, but she knew she was way too young to be thinking about marriage and having a baby.

"so i heard you have a new boo? why didn't you tell me?" ariel asked, chewing on her latest craving; bananas dipped in nutella.

"it's not really a big deal," november shrugged.

"it is a big deal! my little niece has her first real boyfriend and she didn't tell her favorite aunt?"

november grabbed a banana from ariel's pile and started to peel it, earning a rude glare from ariel, who continued eating her's.

"it's really not, auntie. i don't even know what i'm doing."

"what do you mean?"

november shrugged, taking a bite out of the fruit. "i know he loves me, and i guess i love him.. no, i do love him, but i'm just scared i guess? we've only been dating for three months now and we've already told each other that we love one another, but who knows what he's thinking. you know how boys are."

ariel nodded, "i think that you guys are doing fine. me and dre told each other we loved each other after only a month of dating, and here we are, five years later," she smiled, patting her swollen belly.

november let out a soft "aw", tossing the banana peel into the trash next to the kitchen table.

"from what i've heard from your dad, he's a nice kid and he really cares about you. don't stress yourself out. you're only 18, almost 19, my lord. you're gonna have relationships that work and some that don't. this is your first real boyfriend so i get why you're worrying, but trust me, baby, everything will make sense eventually," ariel kissed her on the cheek, ruffled her hair, and then waddled over to the pantry to get more nutella.

back in ireland, niall was having the time of his life. his best friends were visiting from london, and he couldn't be happier. he hadn't seen them since his going away party, which was a year ago.

"tell us about this november girl," liam passed around a few beers before sitting down on niall's bed.

"well.. she's funny, smart.. beautiful, lads. i don't know how i got so lucky," niall gushed.

harry let out an annoying "aw" while louis yelled, "get some!", earning him a smack on the back of the head from harry.

"we're happy you've finally found someone. we were starting to think you were going to die alone," louis teased.

niall rolled his eyes, checking his phone for any missed texts or calls.

nothing.

he sighed, locking his phone and putting it back in his pocket.

"what's wrong? waiting for her to call you?" harry asked, snuggling close to louis.

liam threw a pillow at the couple, "get a room!"

"excuse you, liam, we are in niall's room, and last time i checked, it's a room, so shut the fuck up and listen to what niall has to say," louis snapped.

the room was silent, before niall cleared his throat. "i'm just worried, i guess."

"why?" the three said in unison.
