it was now august, which meant school was right around the corner. november and niall had survived yet another month of being together, which was a huge milestone for november, considering being with someone for five months was a long time.

the couple hadn't gone very far sexually, but they had for sure done more than just boob touching and hand jobs.

november had begun searching for jobs, knowing her life savings weren't going to be enough for very much longer. niall was giving guitar lessons to little kids for $20 per session, and surprisingly, he was making a lot of money.

niall was getting tired of zayn just sitting around smoking weed and having sex with chloe, because he literally just did that and that only. he didn't hang out with niall anymore, but with his friend naughty boy.

at first, naughty boy seemed like a nice guy, but then he started coming over to niall and zayn's apartment and eating all of their food and always sleeping on their couch. niall was annoyed to say the least.

there was an incident where november came over to help niall redecorate his room, and naughty boy tried hitting on her, which made november laugh, because was he that desperate?

november sat on the edge of niall's bed, watching him pace back and forth. he was stressed about school and his family back home. theo was really sick, and niall hated that he couldn't be with him and help greg take care of him.

"i'm sure theo is fine, ni. you're worrying for nothing. denise and greg'll take care of him," november assured.

niall ran his fingers through his hair, still pacing back and forth, "he's my nephew and i'm supposed to be there for him."

november stood up, grabbing niall and kissing him. he automatically calmed down, kissing back slowly.

"theo's going to be fine, i promise you. now how about we go make some lunch, come back in here, and cuddle?"

niall nodded, kissing november swiftly before they heading into the kitchen. naughty boy was sitting at the table eating chips, eyeing november up and down, making her uncomfortable.

"stop staring," niall growled, opening the fridge and grabbing all of the things he needed to make him and november a sandwich.

"i wasn't," he quickly replied, stuffing a handful of chips into his mouth.

"you were, and if you stare at her again i'll make sure to shove my foot up your ass, got it?"

naughty boy's eyes widened, but he nodded quickly, quietly finishing his chips. november sat on the counter, right next to where niall was making the food. she swung her legs back and forth, humming quietly to herself.

zayn came out of his room, hair messy and shirt inside out. he sat across the table from naughty boy, giving him a small nod. november eyed the two, annoyed with how close they had gotten.

"here, baby," niall handed november her sandwich, thanking him and taking a bite. niall did the same, his free hand placed on november's inner thigh. she ate her sandwich, gently squeezing her thighs together.

zayn was whispering something to naughty boy, who was eyeing the couple, jealousy running through his veins. he whispered something back, making zayn laugh and nod, motioning for him to watch tv with him, which he happily agreed to.

niall made sure the two left before standing in front of november and twirling pieces of her hair, waiting for her to finish eating. once she did, niall grabbed her hand, "let's get you cleaned up."
