it had been four months since niall and november met, and they had become inseparable. they constantly texted, morning and night.

it was now spring break, and everyone was either back at home or in palm springs for coachella. november and niall had their own plans, to stay at their dorms and eat ice cream and cuddle, because that's how good of friends they were.

"i need to tell you something, nov.".

"what is it?" november hummed, dusting around her dorm.

"i've fallen for you," he said quietly.

november paused, turning around.

"what? no, niall.. you can't.."

"i can't hide my feelings for you anymore. everytime i see you my feelings for you just get stronger and stronger, and i just want to kiss you so badly, nov."

november bit her lip, setting the feather duster on the table. she was at a loss for words.

"i shouldn't have said anything. fuck why do i do this to myself? just forget i even said anything," niall groaned.

"niall, you big loser."

"what?"

"i like you too."

"what."

"i said i like you too," november smiled, sitting next to him.

"you do? oh shit. you do? okay uh well i wasn't expecting for you to say you like me back," niall awkwardly laughed.

"well, i do, so now what?"

"would you, november rivera, do the honor of becoming my girlfriend?"

"hmm.. nah."

niall playfully pushed her, causing her to push him back.

"i'm joking. of course i will," she giggled, quickly kissing him on the cheek causing him to turn crimson.

november woke up the next morning to 5 texts from niall, and she smiled reading everyone.

november dialed niall's number, staring at the ceiling.

"hello?"

"hi."

"oh hi nov! i was wondering if you wanted to come to my dorm and hang out with me and some friends? it's totally fine if you don't want to, though," niall babbled.

"yeah i'll be there in an hour," november giggled, hanging up and getting ready to leave.

november had straightened her hair, not wanting niall's friends to make fun of her natural hair. she was impressed with her outfit, leggings with a green jacket and a sports bra underneath.

once she got to the dorm, she knocked on the door, only to be let in by a girl with tan skin and ombre hair.

"you must be niall's new girl! come in, chika," the girl practically squeals, pulling november in the room.

"hey, nov. these are my friends. zayn, chloe, this is my girlfriend, november," niall introduces everyone.

november shyly waves, hurrying to sit beside niall.

"i love your hair so much, hun. who do you go to?" chloe snuggled close to zayn.

"i actually do my own hair," november smiled, grabbing a chunk of her hair and brushing through it with her fingers.

for the first time in months, november felt at home; like she belonged. nobody made fun of her for who she really was, and she mentally noted to hang out with niall's friends more often.

zayn and chloe were making out in the corner, not even noticing niall and november cuddling and whispering sweet nothings to each other.

"stay with me today," niall whispered, playing with november's hair.

"i can't. i have to go back to my dorm and finish my art project."

"when's it due?"

"the day we come back from spring break, so next week," november hummed.

"alright, i'll let you go. can i come over tonight? they always have sex when i'm here and it makes me uncomfortable since i'm.. well, you know," niall motioned towards chloe and zayn, who were still making out.

"yeah, of course. just text first."
