"so let me get this straight. the white boy you brought in here earlier is a virgin?"

bri and november sat on the floor, doing each other's nails.

"that's what he told me," november frowned. "do you think he's lying?"

"nah. no white boy is gonna sit there and lie about being a virgin in college. it's just kind of.."

"pathetic?"

"no no, i was gonna say unheard of. like you, for example. you're a virgin and you're 18. i'm not saying you should have sex with some random guy, but, it's time for you to, you know, get it on," bri wiggled her eyebrows.

"i'm waiting for someone special, bri. i don't want to lose my virginity to some guy that's gonna dump me right after. i'm going to wait."

"right. that's what i said, but look at me now," bri smirked.

"you and i are completely different, and you know that," november sighed.

"imagine you and that neil kid take each other's virginities. oh my gosh, nov, that would be so cute!"

"his name is niall, not neil, and i don't know. we just met today. i'm not trying to rush into anything. i don't even like him like that yet."

"yet? you're so falling for him! just admit it, nov. i'm gonna be an auntie soon. my baby's growing up so fast," bri wiped her fake tears away and started laughing.

"there will be no aunties as of right now. i'm just trying to get through freshman year," november stated, blowing on her nails afterward.

"whatever you say."

niall couldn't stop thinking about november.

he stared at the ceiling, picturing her and her curls. she was absolutely stunning, and even though he had only met her today, he felt himself falling for her.

"hey niall, me and the guys were wondering if you wanted to go to the frat house and grab a few beers? hook up with a few chicks?" niall's dorm mate, zayn, suggested.

"it's okay, i'll stay here," niall smiled awkwardly, sitting up.

"you're so lame, dude. lighten up," and with that, zayn left to whatever party he was heading to.

niall sighed, grabbing his phone and scrolling through instagram. no matter how many hot girls he saw on his feed, he couldn't compare them to november.

she was just something else.
