Irene's POV
I'm suppose to be flying out to Boston now, instead here I am getting dragged by no other than Kim Yerim.
"You're paying for my flight! I swear to God!" I tightened my hold on her hand when we started getting through the crowd already.
God! If only I knew I'd end up here, I should've just ignored her message this morning.
"Coming through... Excuse me... Oh! Sorry... Coming through..." exactly the only words that's coming out of her now.
"Unnie! You've made it!" Park Sooyoung suddenly appeared in my sight.
"She wouldn't miss it for the world!" Yerim said. What's Sooyoung doing here?
"Aren't you suppose to be in New York?" I asked. She then look over to Yeri.
"Liar." She said to her.
"At least I got to bring her here!" I eyed the two of them.
"What's happening?" I crossed my arms. "And really? A reunion, watching a theatre play?" I look at Yeri, "This is so not you." Sooyoung laughs.
"Woah! I live for the arts!" she said. There's actually some truth in that.
I went over to Sooyoung to give wrap her in an embrace.
"Long time no see Sooyoung-ah." I said before letting go.
"It's been a year already, unnie. Tell me, how's life?" I smiled.
"You tell me. I got an assistant who messed up my schedule every single time. Look at where I am now." Yes, I'm pretaining to no other than Kim Yerim.
"When I knew that you were here as well, I did send tickets to you guys." Sooyoung said. "I wouldn't miss the chance to see you two again."
"Are you a part of this show?" I asked, curiously. Who knows... She shook her head.
"No unnie, but my girlfriend is." I was shocked hearing that. The last time I checked, she was straight.
She might have noticed my confusion at the moment. She had long time boyfriend before she left for New York.
"You must be wondering..." she chuckled. "Time changes us unnie." I nodded. I couldn't agree more.
"Your girlfriend unnie?!" Yeri exclaimed. "I only saw her in your socials. Will we meet her?"
"You already knew about this?" I asked her. Why didn't she tell me?
"Unnie! I told you! Use your phone. You have your social media accounts but you just use them all for work. Like chill out! Scroll some news on your feed." I stare at Yeri blankly.
"I watch news." I defended myself.
"Of course you do." Yeri sighed and look at Sooyoung. Sooyoung just laugh .
"Let her be, Yeri." She said.
"Unnie!" Yeri made me look at her. "You need to see the world outside work. It's amazing and fun!" I'm sure it is.
"The world is not that great Yerim. As long as unnie's happy and contented, just let her be." she then look behind us. "Looks like the play's about to start soon, let's go inside?" We went in together and find our seats.
"Shouldn't you be helping me out on this one, Sooyoung unnie?" Yeri whined. Sooyoung look back at me
"I realized, unnie's doing good already. Why trouble her with bits of the world she chose not to be a part of?" Sooyoung said as she sat on the seat first.
