Irene's POV

"You can't do that." Seulgi said to her sister. "You're getting ready for debut already."

"Oh, great! I thought I'll be losing be losing my job now, literally." Yeri said in a sigh of relief. I look at her in disbelief. "I was just kidding, okay? Testing how you'll react, since you've ben blackmailing me these days." I sighed and just shook my head.

Most of them laugh at that, except for one person. When I look over to her, she's already staring at me. This time she's the first one who look away.

The dinner went on as expected. Wendy and Sooyoung's parents went back to the house first to rest.

Now some staffs are setting up a bonfire for us. When we got there a single person was out of sight.

"She's preparing the drone." Yeji said. She offered me a stick with a marshmallow on it. "How are you unnie?" She asked. I look around in case someone else heard that, the three are sitting in front of the fire already. I then heard a chuckle to my side. "I guess my sister did not lie, well she never does." She said.

"Never." I said, just staring at the marshmallow.

"Yet you got her to pretend she doesn't know the person she loves most, in front of her closest friends." I turn to look at her. "Unnie, why did you leave?" I look away and took a deep breath before I answered her.

"I was asked to." I honestly told her.

"Huh?"

"Everyting was in chaos at that time, it's still will be now. That's why it's better to just stay as it is already." I said to her. It's just so complicated.

"But Seulgi unnie's---"

"Better without me in her life." I finished. "We're better off being away from each other."

"I don't think so." Yeji said. "Her life would be so much better with her love. I've already witnessed that before. She's a different person with you unnie."

"And I don't want the memory of that love to change. We might have ended up in a bad way, but if I did stayed at the time it would've been way worst." I said.

"How were you so certain with that?" I forced out a smile.

"Because Seulgi couldn't take it. She wouldn't accept it." Who would even?

"Who asked you to leave, unnie?" She asked.

"Grandma Kang."

"What?!" She shouted out of shock.

"Yaah! Why are you talking there? Come now, you two." Sooyoung said. I look at Yeji who's still in shock at what I just told her.

"Please don't tell Seulgi, what I just told you." I said that made her look at me confused.

"Why did you told me this unnie? Seulgi unnie said she's been trying to talk to you,to get answers, but you're not letting her."

"She shouldn't know it. It's better if she doesn't know... Let's go to them already, before they get suspicious." I walk to where the others are first.

A few minutes later Seulgi arrived. She went straight to Sooyoung and let her see the shots she took.

I found myself just staring at her.

With the way Yeji talks about her earlier... She haven't moved on yet? I mean, it's not that I'm hoping but it's been years now. Shouldn't she be with someone else already.

"Unnie, are you really sure you're not into Seulgi unnie?" I heard a little devil whispered beside me.

"No." I answered unaware.
