Chapter XII

Irene's POV

Everyone's currently eyeing Seulgi and I now.

"Good Morning!" Yeji just arrived at the dinning.

"Good morning indeed." Yeri said that made me look up to her. I gave her a warning not to talk that much.

"Joohyun unnie!" I face Yeji who called my attention. "I hope you don't mind. Someone wants to talk to you before you fly back to Boston." Huh? I look at her confused.

"It was just a slip of the tongue. I kind of told someone that you're here and he wants to see you. He booked an early flight this morning." He?

"Who..." before Yeji can even answer Wendy suddenly spoke.

"You know someone who knows unnie?" Wendy asks. When I look at everyone they're all confused now. Yeri's giving me a questioning. I gestured her that I don't know a thing or two on who is this person Yeji's talking about.

"Oh! He's also a fan of unnie's works, big fan." Yeji said. Why am I nervous at that?

Yeji went closer to me and whispers.

"It's Wonwoo Oppa." I look at Yeji surprised.

Actually, Wonwoo was the person who was really there for me. We became close. He was the one who's always convincing me to tell everything to Seulgi, but still respected all my decisions. Grandma Kang wasn't able to talk him out of telling Seulgi about what happened to me, good thing he listened to me. We both get the justice we needed but we both stayed silent. The case of his late girlfriend wasn't included too, when Micheal got convicted.

When I got pregnant, he was there at first but I told him that if we keep in contact Seulgi would end up finding out everything. Though I said goodbye to him, but I never told him where I was going. It was for the best and I know he understands that.

I just didn't expect him to keep all that happened until now.

"I'm actually staying for a few more days. Tell him if he really loves my work, we have a lot to talk about." I said to Yeji that made her smile. I can feel everyones stares directed at me.

"That's new." Yeri said. "You must've forgot that you're a hidden author?" She give out a forced smile. I smiled.

"It's okay. I'm pretty sure this person can keep a secret." I look at Yeji for confirmation and she nodded. I'm sure he can.

"Who exactly are we talking about here, Yeji?" Seulgi suddenly spoke.

"Looks like someone's jealous." Sooyoung said.

I look to Seulgi's side and she's currently glaring at her sister, waiting for a response. The glare isn't scary at all, it's rather pretty cute. I smiled and shook my head.

"Why don't you just wait unnie? I'm sure the plane already landed now." Yeji said, teasing her sister.

"Oh! He's that excited to meet unnie? He must really be a big fan." Wendy said. Yeji suddenly chuckled, I look at her curiously.

She doesn't know what happened in the past, she was too young then. Why does she looks like she knows more than what I think she knows now.

After our breakfast we did our diferent routines and plans. The couple went out for a date. Yeji and Yeri are currently playing a video game in the living room. Seulgi, she's editing the takes she did yesterday in her room.

I'm in the living room watching this two play, when the doorbell rang.

"Unnie, get that please. That must be Oppa already." I nodded and got up from the couch.
