Without Any Doubt

Amy pov

I felt my hand was touched gently by someone. I would guess, it’s Dane. How did I know? Don't ask. I didn't even know how.

Even it was touched so gently, I still felt the sting and hurt in some parts.

I tried to open my heavy eyes. I could feel the sunshine from the windows hit my face.

“Amy!!” Yes, it’s Dane. His sweet voice made me sure, even more when I looked at his sweet face.

I looked around and I could see my bed was surrounded by the guys, plus Jesse.

“Are you okay, sweetheart?“

“How’s your feelings?”

“I’m so sorry, Amy. It’s my fault” I heard Jesse apologized.

They asked me more questions, making me a little bit overwhelmed.

“Guys.. Guys.. Don’t asked too many questions. She is just awake”

I saw my surroundings. They all had worry on their face. I tried to opened my mouth but it felt so dry. I wanted to say to them that I needed a drink.

Suddenly, Edward lift my back and Henry put more pillow behind me. They tried to make sure my back was supported while sitting. In the other side, Dane worked fast to give me a glass of water.

I drank some and tried to wipe my mouth with the back of my hand, but stopped when I realized the IV attached to it.

“You lost consciousness yesterday. I need to give you the medications as soon as possible.” Dane explained seeing me stared at the IV.

“Could you tell us what happened, Strawberry?” Henry asked, but some of them especially Dane didn’t approved the question. He frowned and glared at Henry.

I touched his arm. He turned to me and I gave him a small smile. Assuring him that I was okay with it.

I cleared my throat before started. All of them were waiting patiently. I saw them one by one. Alex sat on the chair on my right, Edward stood behind Alex. Dane sat on my left with Henry behind him. Lucifer sat on the sofa across my bed, Theo stood before him, and William sat on my bed near my feet.

“They came after me.”

All of them widened their eyes, like didn’t believe what I’ve said.

I exhaled slowly, “they specifically came after me. One of them said they need me to answer their questions.”

“Maybe they came after random people, Strawberry. It’s not you they targeted.” Henry tried to comfort me.

I shook my head. “They wanted me. They knew I am special to you. They specifically said that they took me because I’m your soulmate.”

All of them showed shocked face. Henry raised his eyebrow, Theo coughed, Edward even choked his own saliva and Dane gaped.  Then like in command, they started to lowered their head.

“Care to explain?” I asked them.

They looked at each other, like communicating something.

Alex started after inhaled deeply, “before we answer about that, you need to know about us first.” He inhaled and exhaled before continued, “We’re not what you’re thinking. We’re not human. We’re… “

“I knew you’re vampires.”

They again showed shocked face.

“Not about that. I asked about the soulmate thing. I didn’t really understand about that stuff. My mom just explained a little before she died.”
Again, they were looking at each other.

“I didn’t know you’ve already know about us being a vampire” Theo said.

“How? We never told you” Lucifer this time decided to grace me with his expensive voice. Took note to the pun.

“Well.. I’ve encountered with many vampires since I was little. I couldn’t tell the specific ways how I know it, I just..feel.” I couldn’t explained further, because I really didn’t know how I could do it.

“Continue about the soulmate? I never heard someone have many soulmates before.” I asked again.

William took the part this time, “decades ago, we received a prophecy, we were graced by one soulmate for seven of us, instead of one soulmate for each of us.”

Edward chimed in, "actually it's not unusual to have multiple soulmates. It's a common thing to have many lovers for eternal creatures like us."

“it's true. We were together since the earlier time of our life being a vampire. We have been together in wars, battles, in sad times or bad times, happy or wealthy times. It's not a bummer if we share a soulmate.” Theo continued. The others rolled their eyes because of his words choice.

“We did many bad things, Amy, we admit that. Maybe that’s why God gave us just one soulmate. He wanted us to share since we took so many people’s soulmate by our own hands, so we could stop being so greedy.” Theo finished.

I looked at him. I couldn’t imagine them being bad. Well.. Except on that night when they killed those men.

“You are our soulmate, Amy. Everything we have is yours to be used. Our essence are about you, we are nothing without you. Our lifes got more meaning after we heard the prophecy about you, even before we know you.“ William continued.

I could feel the tears in my eyes. I lost my words and just looked at his eyes, full of the honesty, which he telling the truth. It warmed my heart to feel such emotion like this after alone for years.

I could feel someone touching my hand, it’s like Edward. I turned to him.

“Trust my soft heart, baby. It’s only beating for you. “

I smiled to him. I never heard him being so cheesy.

“I trust you”.

He smiled so sweet, but he was interrupted by Alex, who touched my hand and grabbed it gently.

“You have heard it, now I want, no, we want to ask the most important question to you, sweetheart.” He looked at me so intense, my heart’s gonna be exploded.

The others nodded and looked at me too. They suddenly on their knees.

“Would you be our soulmate, Amy?” They asked syncronizedly and made me stunned. I watched their faces one by one, saw the truth and sincerity.

I didn’t know what to say. I just knew them for a few months and there’s so many things were still gray. Mentally, I’ve never prepared my self for something like this. But the truth was, my heart already knew.

From the first sight, I’ve already fell, so deep in their spell. Destined or not, I already knew I would never left them forever. It’s so simple because I just couldn’t. My essence was calling for them, since I got a vision about them years ago.

“Yes..“ I without any doubt answered.
