The Kiss

I opened my eyes, seeing the sunlight from the gaps of the blinds on my windows. I stretched my limbs and sat on my bed. This morning was lovely, the sunlight, the chill wind, the blue sky, and the red leaves on the ground. The winter was soon to come.

I remembered about yesterday. They proposed me to be their soulmate. Honestly, I was afraid I would dissapointed them. I was just a simple girl who had nothing to give but my self.

Alex kissed my hand after I said yes. His eyes told me he was so delighted to hear it.

I could see it also in everyone’s, including Lucifer, who had eternal poker face.

Alex got up and Edward took his place and kissed my hand too. Followed by Theo, who kissed my cheek. Then William who wiped my cheek with his hand before placed his kiss.

“To clean the germ” He simply said after that.

“Hey!! I’m clean!”

I laughed listening to Theo’s whining.

Henry kissed my head and Dane kissed my other hand.

Lucifer stood and walked to me. Everyone was waiting for his action since he was the most hard to crack person. I was wondering too.

He took my hand, making me looked at him. Suddenly he was so fast lowering his head and connected his lips to mine.

I was shocked and couldn’t comprehend a thing. My eyes were big and my mouth gaped.

Lucifer had another mind when he used it to put his tongue inside my mouth. His tongue danced inside and made me seeing stars even I had my eyes closed. I’d never been kissed so intensely like this before. It's so demanding. He's in full control of me. I lost my mind and just sat there.

When he let go of his kiss, I could see he was smirking and full of amusement in his eyes. Then he left us and went out, leaving me stunned and lost a word.

Everyone was stunned watching him left, until Alex fixed his composure.

“Ehmm.. Well.. That’s so.. unpredictable.” he grinned, like everyone else. I could see they were amused by that.

I touched my lips that been kissed by Lucifer yesterday. I could still feel his taste. I felt like his kiss was still there, lingering forever, made me wanted to have more.

I could also feel my face was getting hot. So I got up carefully even with my sore limbs. Then I went into the shower and refreshed my self, taking notes about the bandages on my body. Dane would do something about that.

I chose a tan jogger pants and brown crop top. They were loose so I could feel comfortable and they were easy to lift when Dane came to fix the bandages.

I combed my hair and put it in a simple bun. In the mirror I could see some scratch, near my lips and a little near my eyebrow. They were still red. But I didn't really feel them anymore.

After finished, I took a book from my desk and sat on the bed. Alex forbid me to go anywhere before my wounds healed. He also gave command to everyone not to give me anything to do, and always ready to serve my needs.

Well.. There's a need that I wanted them to take care of, but it's different story. Maybe someday in the future.

This girlfriend-boyfriends thing made me thinking about 'something' else. Lucifer's kiss just enhanced it.

Btw, Alex also gave me off time from school and let me do any tasks from home. So, here I am, sitting on my bed doing nothing.

That gave me time to let my mind wandering. All of the memories I recalled about yesterday was really made me felt shy again. I directly put them behind before I could feel my face hot again.

I heard knocks at the door. Then it was opened, showing who made the knocks.

Like usual, Henry was the one who came up with food tray, but today I saw Edward too, drinking his favorite beverage, beer. Damn, immortal! This was still morning.

“Good morning, Strawberry.”

Henry smiled to me and I returned it while putting my book on the shelf.

“Morning too..”

Edward walked to me. He lowered his head and gave me a good morning kiss on my cheek. I was totally loved it and enjoyed every second before he lift his head and ruffled my hair.

“Not my hair!”

He ran out and laughed hard. I fixed my hair when Henry put a plate of breakfast for me.

“Thank you..” I put a piece of bacon into my mouth and chewed, realized that the house was silent.

“Where’s everyone?”

Henry sat next to me with his own plate. First time he came I asked him his food and he said he already ate. So I told him to eat with me so I didn’t have to eat alone. Now he would eat with me. He was definitely a sweet guy, like his food.

“They were doing stuffs. There’s something need to be fixed.”

I guessed it’s about what happened in the school. Of course they need to fix many things and need to solved the mystery.

I continued eating silently, sometimes stealing bacon from Henry’s plate. He just smiled and not once complained about my behavior.

I knew vampires didn’t need to eat, but he loved food. He surely liked to cook and enjoyed the taste of it.

Henry cleaned up the mess from our eating and left me by myself. He promised me he would checked on me and would came to accompany me after his works done. I just nodded my head.

After eating I spent my time in the bed, reading a book again. I still had a few pages to go. This book is a romance but not Mrs. Sullivan's romance. It had pure love and the main character loved his beloved very much.

While reading, my mind was wandering everywhere, again.

I still didn’t understand many things, but I would took my time, slowly but sure.

After that kissed, I remembered I told them everything happened that night.

Everything I heard, everything I knew. I just hoped I could helped them.
