Did she just kiss me?

Lucifer pov

The sky was dark tonight. Clouds were everywhere, covering the stars and the moon. The air was chill but for a vampire, it’s nothing for sure.

Again, like other nights, I played some melodies with my guitar. I enjoyed it so much before I smelled the strawberry scent from specific direction, Amy’s room.

I decided to invite her tonight. Looked like she was intrigued with my guitar playing. I walked slowly to her room, and there she’s.

She looked at the dark garden in front of her balcony. Looked like there’s a problem with the lamp out there. She just stayed near the railing wearing her pajamas, that consisted of short shorts and tank top. Didn’t she feel the chill?

“You should cover up more, mon chéri. It’s chilling”

I stepped down onto the balcony, exactly behind her.

She gasped and turned her body.

“How..how you come here?” Her big doe eyes was getting bigger.

I smiled to her and pointed the roof. She was just staring at me like watching something unusual.

I didn’t want to admit it, but yeah.. I rarely smile to anybody. Perhaps looking at smiling me put her in a shock.

“You should smile more.”

She also started to smile. I looked at her pretty face. Maybe the moon was hiding behind the cloud because feeling shy toward her beautiful face.

Her face was literally shining brighter than the moon. Perhaps it’s just my imagination, but I would still thinking that it’s true.

“Care to join me, mon chéri?”

She showed me her wondering face.

“Grab your favorite coat and follow me!”

I didn’t take long to turned my heels and even she was still wondering, she moved her feet and grabbed her favorite coat that hanging near the door, then followed my steps  to the library and out to the balcony.

There’s a tree branch outside the balcony of the library and if you carefully stepped on it, you can climbed to the roof.

It’s easier to climb from my bedroom window, but I didn’t want to make her afraid if I brought her to my room. Not yet.

There’s always a good time for everything. And this time wasn’t the time for her to come to my room. If the time's come, I'll make sure she wouldn't leave it for the whole night.

I helped her out carefully not to step on the wrong branch. With a little effort, she could stepped on the roof.

I held her soft and tiny hand while walking on the roof. The roof was made from hard and solid material. It couldn’t be broken just by the weight of two people. Thanked William for the design.

I could feel her warmth through the hands. The tingles brought different sensation from the joint hands, and made my body warm too. Her hand was much smaller than mine. The dainty little fingers brought naughty imagination came to my mind. I definitely would have a cold shower after this.

We stopped after getting closer to the place I sit before. She sat on the blanket that I lied. I sat a little bit further, afraid she would feel uncomfortable if I sat too close. I grabbed my guitar and tried to find the perfect key.

“Do you play guitar? “I asked her.

She shook her head. Her hair joined the movement.

“I can’t play any instrument.”

“Have a favorite song?”

I asked her again.

She took a while to find a song in her mind.

“I wanna be there by Blessed Union of Souls”.

She looked at me with the eyes full of hope. That song? Easy.

I started to play the intro key. G C D G. This song’s simple and very easy for a beginner. For a pro like me? It’s a piece of cake.

I continued the keys of Pre-Chorus, Em C G before started the chorus keys. It’s the same key with the intro, G C D G.

I didn’t have a good voice, but for a song for my soulmate, I would do anything to sing this song beautifully.

For the whole song she looked at me seriously. I loved seeing her big glittering eyes, her pouty pink lips, her hair that flew by the wind, and her dainty little fingers which tidying her hair again. She was definitely an angel.

For the next hours she asked me to play some songs while she was sitting comfortably listen to me singing. Sometimes she filled her mouth with some apples I brought as late night meal. Let's not talking about my imagination when she put it into her mouth. Something that made something down there getting hard.

I was glad I could sing so I could spent the night with her like this. It felt intimate and private. Liked we had our time together without anyone or anything disturb us.

She began to rub her eyes. Looked like she was already tired and sleepy. The night was still long but for her, it’s sure so late already.

“Let’s call it a night and go to your room, mon chéri”

She nodded. I stood and offered my hand. She gladly took it and stood too. We walked to the direction of library. I got down first and raised my hands to her.

“Get down, I’ll catch you”

Something that made my heart touched was I didn’t see a sliver of doubt in her eyes. Like she trusted me with her life.

She lowered her body slowly and jumped. I could feel her small body in my hands, her small waist, her soft skin, her warmth. Reminding me to a sweet marshmallow Henry made for us. I smiled secretly, didn’t want her to see it. She must be asked me if she saw it.

I didn’t want to let her go. She was perfect in my arms.

“you can let me go now, Lucifer“

Her small voice came like a whisper. Oh, God. I smelled it again. The sweet scent from her private area. Calm down Lucifer! Don’t make a bad move. It’s too soon.

I put her down slowly and ignored the scent. Keep it up, Lucifer!

We walked to her room. I really didn’t want her to arrive at her room, but I didn’t know how long I could keep myself together. She smelled really good. If she was a marshmallow, I would eat her up already.

When we arrived at her door, I looked at her face.

“Good night, my little marshmallow.”

She smiled sweetly.

“Good night, Lucifer.”

Something I didn’t expect was she tiptoed on her feet and kissed my cheek. Even she couldn’t reach it, just touched my jaw, but it brought butterflies in my stomach. I was stunned and couldn’t process what happened.

“Thanks for the date.”

Then she opened the door and got inside, leaving me dumbfounded.

What just happened?

Did she just kiss me?
