Burn the fire within

Right now, I was sitting in Alex’s car. I didn’t know the type. I just saw some kind of animal like a tiger logo in the front car. I wasn’t very good with the cars’ type, but I did knew which one was screamed expensive. This car was one of them.

In this car, there’s Alex in the driver seat. We’re waiting for Theo. The rest of the guys were in Henry’s car. A kind of Lexus car. Again, I didn’t know the type of it. I just knew its name from Henry when he talked to William. Yes, I was eavesdropping.

“Sorry. Need to take something” Theo appeared suddenly holding his bag.

“Next time we’ll just drive off”

Alex said, shortly but sharply. Theo just shrugged. Maybe he was common with Alex’s grumpy mode.

We then moved on. The whole journey to the costumes shop was fun, well..fun enough.

Alex was grumpy about God knew what, and Theo liked to teased him. Henry was right about Theo and Edward being pranksters.

Thanked God, the shop they’re heading looked like was getting near.

The cars walked slowly and finally stopped in front of a big shop decorated with various Halloween stuffs, skeletons, pumpkin lanterns, ghosts, monsters, aliens, you named it, they have it.

The guys were out and approached the shop. Of course I did too.

When I entered the shop, I was stunned. The shop was awesome. The interior was simple yet decorated to the max. I could see decorations section, I also could see the costumes section. That’s the direction we went.

“What costumes do you like, baby?“Edward asked.

I just shrugged, had no idea what to answer. I’ve never been to any Halloween party before.

“Something fun, something aesthetic, or something sexy?“Theo chimed.

He pointed to a set of kitten costume, complete with cat ears and paws. But the costume wasn’t like a cat costume. It’s just like a black lingerie with cat’s tail.

I wrinkled my nose. “Definitely not the sexy one. You can dress me any ways you want, just not that one.“

Theo smirked, “gotta try my best”.

I smiled and rolled my eyes, he’s very something.

We rounded the sections for more than a half hour. They showed me various kinds of costumes and I didn’t really like them. And when I pointed to something I like, they directly rejected me.

When I pointed to a puppy romper, or full body skeleton suit, and the last, grim reaper big black cloaks, they said no. Edward said, it’s not cute. Theo even said, it’s not sexy.

This guys, I shook my head. What kind of costume they wanted me to wear?

I was getting tired of choosing. In the last minutes of patience, I saw a set of gothic black dress, complete with black choker, had long lace sleeves and reached my knees. Not too sexy, not too revealing, but not too covering. The fabric was also very warm, black velvet. With black boots and thigh length stockings, garter belt and dark makeup, I would looked like a perfect vampire.

After shopping, we went to a nearby café to get chill. It called fiore del caffe.

I order some smoothie and the rest of the guys chose their favorite drinks which wasn’t far from coffee. Cappuccino, latte, Americano, red eye, mocha, café au lait, and Alex even picked black. Yucks.. How bitter it was.

I was happy with my paper bag, filled with the costume I picked earlier. But there were more bags since they chose to picked things they thought I would needed. I tried to reject them multiple times, but guess what? I failed. So I just let them buy anything they wanted.
