Amy pov
Mr. Fabens said that I could move as soon as possible. So, in two days, I packed all of my things and rent a pick up truck to bring them. I didn’t have many things to bring. Just a few boxes of kitchen utensils, bed sheets, pictures, electronic devices, books and clothes.
I was a little bit nervous to meet the principal. I heard he was a strict person. I imagined him like a middle age man, with a few of grey hair, wrinkles around his eyes and mouth, maybe he had huge moustache and thick beard, or using a wooden stick.
And how was his personality?
How if he was a perv like George. How if he was a strict old man who forbid anything liberals, could I came home late? Or I couldn’t went out at all? How if he was abusive? Or he live with his wife who was fussy or always jealous toward young girls like me who closed to her husband?
Mr. Fabens said he lived with other six member of his family. How if I couldn’t tolerate his family? So many ifs played in my head.
I was aware that I was wondering too many things. I should kept the gratitude took place in my head, not many questions. I had to thank the God that I still had a place to go.
I drove about an hour from my apartment to the address that Mr. Fabens wrote.
I thought it would be a modern or high end house since Adheira university was one of the best universities in this universe, but when I arrived at the address, I was wondering if I was in the right place or not.
In front of me, there’s a set of huge gate made from carved iron. From outside, I could see a classic mansion that looked like a castle in fairy tales far away from where I stopped.
“Is it the right address?”
I went out of the truck and observed the gate. It’s not locked.
“Should I come in?”
I thought about it for a second, “well.. I was invited.”
I open the gate wider, climbed up the truck and drove in, closed the gate again, and drove further in.
I stopped in the field that separate the mansion and the gate. I grabbed my bag and went out of the truck.
I looked at my surrounding. This place was gorgeous. It’s really like in a fairytale. Big trees surrounded the house, flowers in various colors scattered every where, and there’s a fountain in the middle of the field, right straight from the front door. This mansion must cost a fortune.
I walked slowly to the front door and raised my hand to knock. About one inch from the surface of the door, it opened. Was it automatic door? The one with movement censor?
No, it wasn’t. The door was opened by someone that looked like an angel. He was tall, muscular with brunette hair and brown eyes.
“Ms. Caldwell, right?” Even his voice sounded angelic. I couldn’t turned my eyes off of him.
Furthermore, his smile was also very bright. Where were you all my life? How could the God made a beautiful creature like you?
He coughed a little, brought me back from the daydream.
“You must be Mr. Caldwell. Please come in.”
I walked in and I could see the mansion was totally more like in the fairy tales. A high ceiling welcomed me, with the beautiful chandeliers hanging from it. The walls were also beautiful, full of carvings and bright glass panels.
“By the way, my name is Edward Crawford. You can call me Edward.” His words startled me a little.
“Beautiful name for a beautiful man”
I smiled to him. I could see blush spread on his cheeks, and he smiled back to me.
“My name is Amaryllis Caldwell. You can call me Amy.”
“Beautiful name for a beautiful girl” This time I got blushing.
We chatted a little. He brought me to a wooden door and knocked.
“I brought the scholarship grantee with me. ”Then he opened the door and we came in.
“Ah.. Ms. Caldwell. Nice to meet you here. Please have a seat”
In front of me, there’s another beautiful man. He sat on his seat behind the desk, but I still could see his posture. He was built like a Greek God, with messy blonde hair and Hazel eyes that fixed to me. He was wearing a white shirt with some buttons undone, and a pair of black trousers with the belt undone. This time again, I couldn’t turned my eyes off of a beautiful creature before me.
Definitely not a middle age man I imagined.
“Have a sit, Ms. Caldwell.”
I blinked a few times and gained some controls of myself. I couldn’t let any naughty thought made a place in my mind now. I sat on the chair, opposite of him. The only thing that separated us was just the desk.
“I’ll leave you from here. Nice to meet you, Amy”
I smiled and nodded to him, “you too, Edward”
Then I heard a movement, “getting closer I see”
I turned my head toward him.
