Henry pov

I could see the jealousy in Dane's eyes but he was too hypocrite to admit that.

I knew it's not easy to let anyone entered our lives in an instant. We had spent our time together as long as I could remember.

We had faced many things, in happiness or sadness, hard time, though time, wars, and other things.

I just hoped he could give Amy a chance, and more open to her. I knew he would. It's not a problem even it happened as slow as a snail walked.

After making breakfast, Amy and I put everything on the table and sat on the chairs.

I started to make a conversation with her.

"I heard about your presentation with Jessie. Congrats, Strawberry. You did great."

She smiled proudly, "Thank you".

She then watched her surroundings.

"Where's the others? I didn't see anyone except Dane."

Amy asked the rest when nobody showed up for the breakfast.

I cut my egg and dug in.

"They're in the campus, Strawberry. They have to take care many things, since the Halloween party is getting closer."

She raised her eyebrow.

"Halloween party?" She stopped her spoon mid air.

I nodded and continued eating. She did it too. I could see she was still wondering.

"The campus always make a Halloween party every year. The students should wear costumes and having fun in the students hall. They even invite musician or famous artists"

"What costumes?"

"Anything, celebrities, movie characters, animals, occupation. Or even costumes from animes, it's literally anything."

She just nodded while digging her food.

"Beside that, there's also prize who have the best costume"

"Prize?"

"Yeah.. Sometimes Alex would give cash, or some expensive things, or extra credit on the school subjects. Depends on his generosity"

I shrugged. She nodded.

"That's fun." Then she just continued eating.

I squinted my eyes. That's not a response I expected. I didn't feel the spirit.

"Why? You don't like Halloween?"

She was taken back, and shook her head.

"No.. No.. No.. I like Halloween. I just don't like parties"

I was shocked. She was in her early twenties, but she didn't like parties? What kind of young woman she was?

"You don't like parties?"

She nodded while munching her bacon.

"Too bad. We can't see you in costumes then"

She looked at me, stopping her munching.

"You guys want me to put on some costumes?"

I nodded. I had finished eating and drank my water.

"Cosplay can be fun, Strawberry"

Then I stood and brought my plate to the kitchen, leaving her staring at her food.

What's in her beautiful mind?

Did she notice something in my sentence?

Amy pov

They want to see me in costumes?

Well.. I didn't hate Halloween. I just didn't like parties. How a party was supposed to be be fun if there were sweated people around you, talked things that's not your interest, danced to the music that horribly loud and sometimes even not your jam, or the horrible drinks that made you wasted.

Don't let me talk about the spiked drink that the jerks always gave to the girls that they wanted to hit. I had never been in any of it, just heard the spreaded news, but I swear to God I didn't want to be in it.

Now, the guys wanted me to go to the party and see me in costumes. What should I do?

I really wanted to please them.

The dinner Henry served was perfect like usual. This time, all of the guys we're here. We didn't eat together in full team for days. They were always busy. Maybe to prepare the Halloween party that being held this Friday. So today I was very pleased and happy.

"How about the preparation? Has it finished already?"

Henry asked Alex while cutting his fish.

Alex nodded, "I have scanned everything and it's looked perfect to me. I just hope nothing happened in the last minute. The efforts are too precious"

Everyone was nodded and some of them hoped verbally.

"How about you, baby? Have you ready for the party?"

I stopped my spoon mid air hearing Edward's question. I looked at everyone. They all were looking at me, waiting for my answer.

I put down my spoon, "well.. I don't think I will go to that party"

I scanned all of them. They didn't do anything except looking at me like I grew horns on my head. They were also so silent. Edward even had his mouth opened like what I said was a weird answer.

"But why?" looked like he couldn't hold himself to ask me about it anymore.

I shrugged, "first, I don't have any costumes to wear. Second, I hate parties. I prefer spend my night at home than attending crowds"

Everyone still looked shocked. I kept eating, not care about the guys who looked at me in the weird kind of ways.

"So, you won't come to the party?" Henry asked.

I shook my head.

"Not even if we asked you too?"

Theo this time, asking me with eyes full of hope, and I couldn't answer it directly. I really wanted to be good for them, and if I refused them, I definitely would made them disappointed.

In my debating mind, I could see some disappointment on their eyes. When I saw Theo's puppy eyes, I lost.

"I will come, but.."

All of them started to have stars in their eyes.

"But..?"Alex was waiting.

I gulped, "I don't have any costumes"

I looked down. Feeling embarrassed to see their faces.

That time, I didn't see how they looked each other like changing something in their minds.

"Looks like we will go shopping" Alex chimed.

I raised my chin and eyebrows.

"You need costumes, so we'll find one. The one that match with ours"

William explained more. I was speechless. They wanted to do this far just wanted me to got to the party.

How special was this party?

Well.. It's not hard to try to party this time, right?

Furthermore, I could see seven beautiful Greek God in costumes. How fantastic was that?

Like Henry said, cosplay can be fun.
