(MODERN AU AND KAVEH'S LAST NAME IS KSHEREWAR BC YES.) Nobody's POV:
He never wished for this to happen. He never wished to lose the most important person to him in this whole world. He never thought that a stupid fight, with words he never meant would lead to this. His gray hair flowed in the wind as his hand that held his umbrella shook. He wasn't doing ok. He wasn't doing well.

Tears slipped down his red and puffy face. He approached the destination that he was going to. He stood on the ground, a sad smile on his face. The rain wetted the tombstone with the name "'Kaveh Ksherewar" written on it. "Hey Kaveh..!" Alhaitham said, quietly crying. "'I missed you. I- Um.. brought you something." Alhaitham dropped an object on top of Kaveh's grave.

The object he had dropped were some red hair clips. "'I.. I knew that it would be hard to tie your hair if you ever lost your hair clips." Alhaitham sobbed. "'It's hard for me without you, you know. Our house is so empty.. other than Mehrak's presence, and our friends I've barely had anything that made me happy." Alhaitham held back his sobs.

Alhaitham never thought that an argument like that they usually had would lead to Kaveh ending it. He still remembered when he tried to save him. And when he had failed to save him. When he remembered how heart broken he was. He couldn't live without him. He couldn't do it. He had been trying so hard to live. But he couldn't.

"'I miss you, you know?- I- I love you. I'm sorry I never got to tell you this one last time." Alhaitham chuckled under his breath out of sadness. He couldn't live without Kaveh. He only wanted Kaveh. Nobody could make him happy but Kaveh. He hadn't smiled happily since Kaveh left him. He wanted to reverse that day so badly.

He would do anything to reverse that horrid day. He would do anything to take back the words he said to Kaveh. The last words Kaveh ever spoke where engraved on the tombstone. "'I love you, Alhaitham." Alhaitham looked down at the stone. Alhaitham's tears flowed down his face. Still crying. "'I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry.." Alhaitham said, still sobbing.

Alhaitham still remembered Kaveh's relaxed and tired face as he fell down. He still had a smile on his face as the blood spread all over the green grass. Kaveh had found his way inside Alhaitham's heart, and now that he was gone, his heart would always be shattered.

"Never let go.. please.." Alhaitham sobbed, talking to himself, his voice shaking. He couldn't. He couldn't do anything. Even when he went home, he didn't feel comfortable. He needed Kaveh by his side to feel happy.

Alhaitham covered his face as he sobbed his heart out. He wanted nothing more than to jump into Kaveh's arms. To hold him, and apologize over and over and over again. To say how sorry he was, and to feel Kaveh's soft lips against his. To feel Kaveh's skin, and to wrap him in his arms. And to never let go. He wanted to wrap Kaveh in an endless hug.

He wanted to see Kaveh smile, to see him laugh, to see him happy. Yes. That was his one true wish. To see Kaveh once more. To see Kaveh smile, to touch Kaveh once more. He knew he would never smile again. Not without Kaveh.

"Alhaitham!" A younger Kaveh, dressed in an Akademiya uniform yelled. A much shorter, and much younger Alhaitham, also dressed in an Akademiya uniform turned around.

"Senior Kaveh!" He yelled back, not even realizing there was a big smile on his face. For some reason, a smile would always curve onto Alhaitham's face when Kaveh was around. What.. what was this feeling?

Kaveh's arms wrapped around Alhaitham's back, pulling them into a hug. "'I missed you!" Kaveh said, giggling. Alhaitham still had a smile on his face, slowly wrapping his arms around Kaveh.

"'It's only been four hours since we last saw each other." Alhaitham said, secretly being glad that Kaveh was here. "So?! That doesn't mean I can't miss my favorite person!" Kaveh said, getting comfortable on Alhaitham's shoulder.

Alhaitham doesn't say a single word, while wrapping his hands tighter around Kaveh's back. The blood spread over his cheeks. He loved him, didn't he? Yes. Yes he did. He hoped with all his heart it would be this way. Oh, if only it would've been.
