Alhaitham's POV:
I finally came home. I stood outside my door, smiling, knowing I would be greeted by my amazing husband, Kaveh. His pretty smile, his perfect face, the way he laughs, everything is perfect about him. It's like he was perfection personified.

I opened the door to our house. And, my prediction was correct. Kaveh ran into my arms, wrapping his arms around my back. I wrapped my arms around his back, smiling. He pulled away a bit, smiling. "Welcome home, Mr. Scribe." Kaveh said, laughing. I couldn't help but smile at him. "Did you miss me, Mr. Architect Extraordinaire?"

He puts his finger on my lip, smiling. "'Well duhh! Now go take a bath so I can cuddle you." He giggled again. I smiled, kissing his cheek before leaving to go take a bath.

I left the bathroom in my room, finding Kaveh sitting on my bed, with a white oversized shirt (that was clearly mine), and black shorts. "Haitham!" He said, with an adoring tone. I walked over to him, and wrapped my arms around him. "Did you miss me, princess?" I asked, teasing him with that little nickname. "P-Princess?!" Kaveh proclaimed.

I held in my laughter. "Yes, princess. Don't you think it fits such a cute person like you?" I teased, smirking under my breath. "Alhaitham!!" He said, looking away blushing. "'I love you, Kaveh." I said, blushing a bit myself. "'I- I love you too, Alhaitham!" He looked at back at me, still extremely flustered. I pulled him into my lap, kissing his forehead.

Nothing I would ever say or do would ever express all of my love for him. Because, I love him so much that I can't express it. I grabbed my blanket from the edge of the bed, and wrapped it around Kaveh and I. Kaveh nuzzled his head against my chest, his (face) cheeks getting squished in the process. He was so amazing. He deserves everything.

He deserves the whole world at his fingertips, he doesn't deserve his debt, he never deserved his father's death, he never deserved his mother leaving him. He deserves the world. I ruffled his hair, and pressed kisses everywhere on his forehead. I could hear the thundering sound of rain slapping against the windows.

There were no words to say, we loved each other so much that there were no words. Well, there were a couple apparently, because Kaveh broke the silence. "Alhaitham.. you mean everything to me. Please, never leave me." He said, endearingly looking at me. His eyes were sparkling, and his (face) cheeks were flushed with red.

I stared at his perfect face, and his perfect lips. I slammed my lips into his. "'I will never leave you. You're my whole world, love." I replied, my face turning red. In reality, I was jealous. Not of Kaveh, but of other people who were better than me. He deserves someone better than me. He was so beautiful and- and perfect, and gorgeous, and caring, and.. I'm rambling in my mind aren't I?

But, yes. I was jealous of others for being better than me. I'm worse than everyone else he could've dated, but, no. He loves me. He's so perfect. He deserves someone who's better than me. Someone who's better at showing affection, someone who would take care of him better.

Kaveh hugged me tighter, giggling under his breath. Butterflies were swarming around in my stomach, I knew that this feeling was truly love. He was the reason I was much happier now. He was the reason why I knew anything about love. He was the reason why my heart felt.. like it was beating.

"Princess, do you want me to take of your hair clips?" I asked, picking up his chin. His face was still flushed with red. He looked just like a little cat that wanted more attention. He nodded, still looking like an angry cat. I kissed his forehead, taking off his hair clips and placing them aside on the table aside our bed.

The rain fell down faster and faster, creating more noise outside. "I feel so comfortable with you.." Kaveh said, his heart melting. I kissed his forehead, blushing. "I feel so amazing with you."

I ruffled his hair more, his happiness radiating off mine. He slowly fell asleep on my chest, and I suppose the sleepiness stuck onto me. I closed my eyes, going into a deep slumber. As long as Kaveh was here, I would be alright. Everything would be ok.
