~Kaveh x Alhaitham one shots~

Kaveh's POV:
Earlier today, Alhaitham asked me to meet him at a "special" location. I mean, it's just an area near Aaru village. I wonder what he wants me there for.. We've been dating for about 8 and a half years now.

We've had our ups and downs. We've had our arguments, disagreements, and.. we've even done the deed multiple times. Some people thought Tighnari and I were the couple sometimes, or that Cyno and Alhaitham were the couple sometimes. And regardless of how jealous we were, we knew we wouldn't ever let go of each other.

And, even if we've argued multiple times we were truly in love. Right now, I'm walking to that certain place near Aaru village. It was gorgeous. It was split exactly between the desert and the jungle. It wasn't exactly at Aaru village, but it was extremely close.

I've only ever been there because of my job as an architect. When I told Alhaitham about it last month, he seemed so happy.. I wonder for what. Anyways, after that he's been out of the house a lot. He's been visiting Cyno and Tighnari a lot. Of course, I didn't assume he was cheating on me. Tighnari and Cyno were in a happy relationship.

I'm almost there.. oh! There he is. Alhaitham's standing right there. He's staring into the dessert side of the place. "Haitham!" I yell. He turns around, and looks at me. "Kaveh, you're here." Alhaitham said, a smile growing onto his face. "'Alhaitham.. uhm.. why did you call me here?" Alhaitham chuckled, and walked up to me and grabbed my hands.

"Kaveh, have you ever wondered if I would ever tell you I wanted to marry you?" I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks. "Y-yes.. why are you asking?" I questioned. He moved closer to me, and smashed our lips together.

I kissed him back, blushing a bit more. He then let go of me. "'Well, would you believe me if I said I did want to marry you?" I gasped for a second, before hesitating and replying "Yes..." I trailed of at the last part. I noticed that he was on one knee.. and he was pulling something out.. was he.. was he?!

"Kaveh *insert his last name bc he doesn't canonically have one 💀* will you marry me?" I could feel tears tugging in my eyes, oh my gosh.. he was actually asking he wanted to marry me. I've only ever dreamed of him marrying me.. he was so perfect. How could he want to marry someone like me? But, before I could let my thoughts take the best of me, I yelled "YES! OF COURSE I WILL!"

I slid the ring onto my ring finger, and hugged him tightly. (Well, more like I fell on top of him.) we both cuddled each other for a bit, before getting up. "'So, we're engaged now?" I asked excitedly. He giggled, and kissed my cheek. "'Well, I guess we're engaged." He replied. "You guess?!" I teased. "'You're the one who asked~" he replied smugly.

He lifted me up, and started carrying me bridal style. "AGH- WHAT THE HECK ALHAITHAM, PUT ME DOWNNN!!" I yelled. He just giggled and said, "'Well, you said that you did wanted to marry me, so get used to this." He said, kissing me on the nose.
