~Kaveh x Alhaitham one shots~

Nobody's POV:
In Sumeru, nights were always much colder and much more windy than the day. And Alhaitham, the great acting grand sage.. hated loud noises. Even the loud sound of the wind reduced him to fear.

And during this specific night, there was a thunderstorm going on. Thunder and rain slapped against the ground, and shook the place. It was almost 1 in the morning, and Alhaitham had began to cry. "Shhh..Alhaitham... don't worry.. everything's going to be ok.." Kaveh whispered as he played with Alhaitham's hair.

"B-but, w-what if-" before Alhaitham could continue, Kaveh kissed Alhaitham's forehead. "Everything is going to be alright. Whatever you're thinking, it's not going to happen. I can assure you, Hayi, you're safe. I promise you're safe." Alhaitham dug his face deeper into Kaveh's thigh.

"Kaveh.. I love you.." Alhaitham whispered in fear, just in case he would die. Kaveh could sense that Alhaitham's grip on his waist had become tighter. "Alhaitham.. I'm not going to run away from you. I won't leave you like this. I'm staying here, I'm staying with you. I'm not going to leave you. Never again. I love you too." Kaveh said as he wrapped the blanket that covered Alhaitham a bit higher than his back.

Kaveh wanted to comfort Alhaitham. Alhaitham deserved a peaceful night of rest. So, Kaveh began to do something the only thing the thought to do. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.. you make me happy, when the skies are gray.. you won't ever know dear, how much I love you.. so.. please, don't take my sunshine away~" Kaveh began singing their song. Kaveh's mother, Faranak, used to sing that song to him whenever he would get nightmares.

Kaveh continued singing a beautiful melody, making Alhaitham's nerves calm down. Kaveh kept singing, until Alhaitham stopped crying. Alhaitham began to stroke his fingers through Kaveh's hair, feeling the softness of his hair. "My most beautiful love.. the only reason why I believe in fate.. is my sunshine.. my darling sunshine.." Alhaitham began to smile as Kaveh kept singing.

"When the skies are gray, you are the only light in my life.. you are the only reason why I believe in love.." those two parts were parts that Kaveh made only for Alhaitham. He only wanted Alhaitham to know how much Kaveh loved him. Alhaitham ended up falling asleep to Kaveh's beautiful voice.

Once Kaveh realized Alhaitham was asleep, Alhaitham slowly lifted him from his lap, and placed him down on his pillow. Kaveh cuddled up against Alhaitham's chest, and wrapped his arms around Alhaitham's waist. He immediately felt Alhaitham put his arms around Kaveh, creating a sweet warmth between them.

"Goodnight, my darling. I love you." Kaveh whispered. The blondie could've sworn he heard his boyfriend whisper "I love you more, Kaveh." Kaveh giggled as he felt his body relax. All of his mind focused on Alhaitham, and only Alhaitham.

He imagined Alhaitham sitting in a flower field, looking at different flowers, and picking some and examining them. He looked gorgeous. Alhaitham had on a beautiful black suit, with the same pattern as he had on his usual tight black shirt. Kaveh immediately fell asleep thinking about Alhaitham.

Alhaitham on the other hand, was thinking about how much he loved Kaveh. He kept repeating the memory of Kaveh singing him their song, and slowly fell asleep to the sweet melody that remained in his mind. The rain and wind outside felt like nothing compared to the comfort he received just from remembering the song.

They were really in love. Despite the rocky relationship everyone thinks they have, they love each other so much.
