Nobody's POV:
The lead architect of the Akademiya barely knew how to take care of himself. Of course, he knew how to take care of his roommate, but despite nursing his roommate each time he was sick, he never took care of himself when he fell ill.

His roommate, the acting grand sage would take care of him. "Kaveh.." Alhaitham, the acting grand sage whispered from disbelief as he found his roommate trying to work on blueprints on his bed. "O-oh, Alhaitham.." the blonde attempted a smile. "You need to stop working. You have a fever, and working will only make it worse." Alhaitham told Kaveh, who instantly began to feel guilty as he looked at Alhaitham's worried face.

"I know.. but-" Kaveh choked on his words with a cough. "No." Alhaitham finished for him as he began to approach his roommate. Gently, Alhaitham took the blueprints and placed them on Kaveh's desk. "But, I still have to do work, and- and- well, I-" Alhaitham sighed, as he placed the back of his palm on Kaveh's forehead. "You're too warm. You need to rest, Kaveh. I know you have work to finish, and I know that it's stressful for you, but please.. just rest." Kaveh stared at his roommate, surprised. It was the first time after so long that he'd seen Alhaitham look so frantic.

In fact, he never thought he would see his roommate like this. Alhaitham was never really a man to show how much he cared for someone. For Kaveh, and Kaveh only, it was a complicated matter. The scribe in fact, was in love with his roommate. How could he hate his roommate? His roommate was an angel. He had an alluring smile, lengthy and silky blonde hair, and oh my archon, Alhaitham could barely continue to his voice.

His voice was just the right pitch, just the right amount of deepness, just the right pitch. Whenever Kaveh talked, Alhaitham would always listen. One would say he looked bored; annoyed even whenever Kaveh would speak. But, oh.. it was the complete opposite. The voice of the architect always stayed inside of the scribe's head long after he stopped speaking.

There were so many unspoken words between them, and it was what drove them both mad. So many things that they couldn't say, so much they wanted to do, but maybe they would never get the chance to do say or do it. It drove the two crazy.

Whenever Kaveh was around, Alhaitham's usually flat and emotionless voice elevated and ended up sounding bright and lively. All though, Kaveh would be too busy arguing with him to notice. Coming back to the present, Alhaitham stared into Kaveh's eyes with this look in his eyes. Kaveh had never noticed how Alhaitham would look at him. This was because he was used to getting that look from him, even from when they were in the Akademiya.

"Uh.. um.." Kaveh twirled his hair in his fingers, which meant he was nervous. That was an observation Alhaitham had made years and years ago. "Alhaitham, do you mind staying with me.. just for tonight?" Kaveh asked, knowing he was pushing his limits. A genuine smile made its way onto Alhaitham's face. "No, I don't mind at all." Alhaitham's smile was noticed by Kaveh, which made the architect turn an embarrassing shade of red.

Alhaitham sat on the space on the bed next to his roommate, ignoring the blanket lying right next to him. Kaveh returned Alhaitham's sweet looking smile as he wrapped the blanket around him too. "You know, you're being.. rather sweet today. Has anything been on your mind lately?" The scribe asked, showing a genuine display of concern. Kaveh smiled a bit at how worried his roommate was for him, and he replied as sweetly as he could. "No.. it's just, whenever I'm sick, I just.. need someone." Alhaitham nodded. "I understand." He answered, secretly enjoying the way Kaveh was being more clingy with him.
