Hotch starts explaining the case at hand while Garcia pulls up images on the screen. I raise my eyebrows at the gruesomeness of them. There's bodies that have feet and hands swapped, some look like they were being seen halfway through but then the killer gave up and dumped the bodies.
"About a month ago we were made aware of a killer that was cutting bodies open and sticking flags for other countries in the victim's eyes." Hotch starts explaining and goes through those photos as well.
"You never caught them?" I ask, surprised, because from what I know, they don't stop until they catch the killer.
"Unfortunately they stopped killing in that style after the sixth victim and the trail went cold." Morgan explains.
"You mean they continued killing in a different style?" I ask, confused.
"On the sixth victim they carved in the skin the word DONE." Reid answers.
"The next three victims had their body parts mixed up. Their legs were where the arms should be and vice versa. And the ME found over ten more bodies with the same wound patterns, connecting the two different types of killings." Hotch explains and points to the claw like marks on the victims.
"And then what?" I ask.
"Then it stopped. No more bodies dropped and the trail went cold." Morgan answers.
"Maybe they were arrested for something else." I offer.
"Garcia looked at arrest records in the area, none fit the timeline or MO." Rossi counters.
"Then they were killed." I shrug.
"It's possible, but, part of me doesn't think that these are his only victims. We need to map out the areas the people were last seen and see if we can find a commonality. Maybe it'll lead to where he lived." Reid offers.
"The victim's families deserve closure." Hotch agrees.
We head on the jet and I fall asleep on the couch. I start dreaming about random chopped off body parts and a lot of blood. I wake up with a start when I feel a hand tapping my shoulder. I sit up and see it's Hotch. He doesn't look annoyed or angry, which means I've done this multiple times before and it's quite normal.
"We landed." He says and I see he's holding my go-bag.

Reid finds a large warehouse near all the different locations where the victims went missing and were found. We have bulletproof vests on and carefully enter, with our guns at the ready. It's dark and musty. I turn a light on and see a wall full of pictures of the victims and other potential victims. There's diagrams of body cutting, stitching, country flags, anatomy design.
The team looks at the wall in amazement and I continue to a door in the back. It looks like a freezer door of sorts. I open it up and stand there in shock. It's a long freezer room, inside are easily more than 100 bodies hanging from meat hooks. The team comes over and they stop in their tracks as well when they see what I'm looking at.
Half of the room has people with different body parts sewn together all wrong. Hands where feet should be, and fingers where there should be toes. A bunch of strange stuff like that. It's thirty three bodies.
The other side is even more impressive. There's people on meat hooks, their intestines are trailing out of their bodies, into the body next to them. Their intestines also have stitched patterns on the surface. The eyes have different country flags sticking out of them. All of them have their vocal chords cut out. The room seems to go on forever as they are lined up next to each other.
