Penda POV

Sitting in class, I listen to Professor Wizgiz as he shows us the art of changing the way you look. Starting with a simple exercise, a mirror forms at my desk. Holding the handle, I look into my reflection. As he instructs us to change our hair color, I focus, smiling as my black locs turn into a deep red.

Seeing it go to the root and all, I allow my colors to revert to their original form.

The day of classes goes well, and by the end of the school day, I'm sitting with Musa as she shows me her long catalog of music. From hip-hop to jazz, I enjoy every bit of it as the music plays between us.

As I laugh with her she speaks softly, "Do you know how to play any instruments?"

I smile excitedly, "I do! Let me show you!"

Rushing over I pick up my violin, she sits up excitedly, "Play me a tune!"

I nod, letting the sweet symphony play, it's calming and nice. As the short melody comes to an end she stands, "Amazing!"

The night continues with fits of laughter.

The next morning, breakfast is here.

Sipping my tea and nibbling on the sweet cookies and thick breads, the Headmistresses stands to announce the annual gala. When both Fairy and Specialist come together for the new school year. With classes canceled and the gala on the way, I smile softly.

I of course help Flora with the decorations, adding streamers and a bit of sparkle to the ballroom. The day quickly passes, leaning against the wall, in a long white dress with heart-shaped flowers I watch as Stella shows off her dress.

Bloom doesn't have a dress for the occasion, returning to my comfortable clothes we rush off to Magix's to help her find one. Dress after dress, we try to find the perfect one, but we fail.

Bloom decides to stay, to find a dress while the rest of us head back. Getting dressed, I pin my hair up, slipping a thin white ribbon to make the style pop.

Slipping on my heels, I head to the party with the girls. The specialists have arrived and everyone in the room is buzzing in excitement. I can feel the love in the air and young hearts burning. Lost in conversation, the fiery red hair of Bloom appears before us.

Leading us to the hall, she tells us of the Trix's plan. The eggs that are about to be handed out have been cursed, and time is running out. Forming a circle, we chant the simple words with hands joined.

"What it once was, let it be again."

Focusing our magic, the counterspell works, restoring the eggs to their former glory. Flora makes a little gift for the Trix, and the party is still arising. Returning, I watch as love begins to form as the fairies open their eggs to beautiful butterflies swarming the air.

A sight I've seen many times of long-life love blooming, but it never seems to get old.

Everything seems to be going great until Flora quickly realizes that Bloom is being cornered by the Trix. The headmistress pulls us away, trying to get the conversation done as quickly as possible.

We're too late as she returns with the Trix gone after their plan failed. Celebrating the ring's safety and Bloom's transformation the final dance of the night comes.

Drinking my punch I smile softly at the calming air of love.

Another day comes, as our class with Professor Palladium is set in the wilderness. To put our skills to the test and listen to nature as we navigate through the forest. Following Flora's lead, we march through the muddy swamp.

Slipping into a muddy pond, there's a thick scent of gas. Growing worried we rush out of the thick slug just in time before the flammable mud burns us. Seeing a Red Fountain Aircraft crashing from above we rush over to the aftermath. Checking in on the Specialist, Sky, Brandon, Timmy, and Riven they seem to be in one peace.

But the Troll they were carrying escaped.

On the loose, the specialist leaves to find the Troll, much to Rivens' pleasure.

Tecna investigates as she brings to our attention that this escape was planned, so we bring it to the boy's attention. Finding the footprints of the trolls, gradually disappear we follow Bloom and Flora's lead as we go deeper into the forest to solve this mystery.

Only to find the specialist tied up and bound by thick red vines, that detest noise. Flora calms them down, freeing the boys from their tight grip. Riven finally accepts our help, allowing all of us to officially work together.

Riven's banters and rude words, set everyone on edge but we continue onward. Hoping across the violent river waters, we make it to the other side just in time. Doing my best to focus on the others, Riven falls in the strong current. Pulling him in, we get him safely on shore before he drowns.

Continuing, we find the Troll, cornering a few of my classmates. With the mission to distract the Troll, we step forward. Revealing ourselves and provoking us, he runs after us only for the specialist to pin him to the ground.

They tussle with the Troll, leading him to get away, the Specialist look defeated.

As Riven and Brandon argue I quickly grow irritated, "That's enough! I'm tired of listening to you argue with everyone Riven. Instead of running your fat mouth, why don't to shut up and listen for once? You guys are a team and you sure don't act like it. If you did, then this Troll would be captured and you guys could go home!"

Crossing my arms, a scowl spreads across my face.

I don't get angry often, but when I do, I get mad.

Riven is speechless, and his scowl forms once more. Opening his mouth, I glare at him making him shut up.

Brandon defuses the situation, agreeing with me nonetheless. As the boy's makeup, I feel Stella hit the side of my arm gently, "Didn't know you had it in you, Penda."

I smile softly, calming down.

As the sky grows darker, we walk deeper into the swamp. Feeling the darkness in the air, we quickly realize it's the Trix were here, meaning the Troll was taken by them. Returning to the class with a thankful ride from the Specialist we get graded.

Even though we came in last, we did pass the assignment, leading to a successful day.
