Penda POV
With the contest still on the way, we continue where we left off, showing our musical talent, and practicing for the big night.
Then the Dark Wizards step forward, weak and vulnerable. Surrounding them, they have no desire to fight but to surrender themselves, for judgment to be cast on them in exchange for protection.
I do not trust them.
But there is fear of Morgana and her fairies of vengeance. Taking them to Love and Pet, we discuss what the next plan is.
Bloom has hope, but I do not.
Even as the red-haired wizard gives the dark circle to Bloom with their power I feel skeptical. With the desire to give it to the Queen of Fairies to show their will to surrender. Consulting the book of fairies we are led to Sabilla the Fairy of Justice.
Now in Italy, deep within the mountainous caves, she doesn't refuse anyone who comes to the cave with good intentions.
Transforming, we teleport with the Wizards to the edge of the mountains. Finding the rustic fairies, they're ready to defend the cave.
Scurrying off, the trials begin.
Entering the cave filled with vine walls, we see a bridge. Having the courage we slip through, and we see magical creatures that rock the waters below and destroy the bridge. Layla jumps just in time, grabbing her hand before she can fall.
Continuing we come face to face with a large door. Before we can step forward the fairies of vengeance appear leading us to transform, we take them down allowing us to meet Sabilla.
Her intentions are good, open to hearing our reasoning. Not agreeing with the path of Vengence, the Ethereal Fairies. Sensing our urgency, the wizards are placed under her protection allowing us to return.
Seeing the boys perform, stalling for us long enough to perform. The crowd is loud and I can't help but blow a kiss to Noa once the performance is done.
The next day rolls around and a thick chill fills the air. Nebula appears giving us a message, demanding the Wizard, warning us of Arruoua, Fairy of the North. Showing us the pending ice that is starting to spread across the world I frown.
As Nebula fades away, we take action, teleporting, we fly over the frozen oceans. Seeing another cargo ship, we land after hearing a crew member shout out for help. Seeing the ice creatures, we melt them, freeing the ship crew.
Bloom leaves them with a warm fire, then we take the skies, soon landing in Aroura's palace.
Filled with Polar bears and ice monsters, Roxy tames the polar bears, turning them against the ice creatures. But it's not enough, transforming into Lovix I smile, "Frosting Heart."
Feeling stronger we slip inside, searching for the North Fairies' source we get caught in an ice maze. The ice fairies attack but we take them down with ease, pushing forward. Feeling as if we're going in circles, we're surrounded by more Ice Fairies and monsters.
Roxy uses herself as a shield, trusting her, they don't attack. Allowing us to overpower them and leading us straight to Aroura, The Fairy of the North.
Holding her Blizzard, she speaks to Bloom, fearful of her flames. Trapping us in her lair, Arouca leaves with the rest of her ice fairies. The room shakes, falling over the ground is unsteady, Roxy is cold as the temperature drops.
Rushing over to Roxy, I lift her, holding her close, I spread my energy through her. While the temperatures halt the girls I still stand strong not affected. Standing in front of Nebula, I plead with her, "Stop this, Roxy can't handle this, she'll die at this rate!"
Nebula growls, stepping forward, demanding the Wizards. Bloom calls her a coward, making her angry.
Insulting her, calling her she traps us in an ice cube, leaving us here, but Roxy is safe as the temperature stabilizes within it. The ice tower is slowing down, Roxy awakens. The ice trap slides leading us closer to the edge. Seeing the Northern Fairy and the Queen, she takes Roxy from the cage of ice.
Nebula returns with a few warrior fairies, Morgana is swayed by the Fairy of Justice and her act of protecting the wizards. Going forward with the battle determining the wizards' fate Bloom and Nebula face off.
The fight is close, over Gardenia, thick layers of ice fall but Bloom destroys it just in time, winning the challenge. Free, Roxy rushes down to save Bloom from a pending doom. Slipping through the portal, we come face to face with the Ethereal Fairies.
Given the Black Gift, a spell that saves a person from death. Returning to the wizards, the only thing we can do is wait.
The day of the trial comes, returning to the Fairy of Justice's cave, we teleport the wizards to the Fairy's island. Roxy opens the portal to their palace, escorting them to Morgana, to be judged.
Giving her the Black Circle, the ceremony of truth is ready to begin. As the sun sets, the 3 wizards are froward, bare in front of the Queen and I. The Queen of Fairies accepts the black circle, as she slips it on her finger the air is tense and the red-haired wizard begins to laugh.
Darkness fills the air, as the black circle tears a hole in the earth sucking the fairies into the abyss.
Rage, anger, and fear.
In the vortex, we step forward, saving the fairies and facing off against the wizards. But the winds grow stronger.
Saving the fairies Roxy and the Queen are cornered. Then the boys appear, ready to aid the Queen and Roxy. Nabu rushes to stop the spell, Layla tries to stop him but he pushes her away.
As his magic deters the vortex, ending it, Nabu falls to his knees. As his strength begins to fade, his life is slipping away.
Then he dies.
The pain in her heart shakes me, as tears fall, as she cries out his name.
The black gift is summoned, and Orgon takes it, dropping the gift purposefully to resurrect a dying flower.
Then they vanish.
Pain fills my heart feeling the distraught and rage in Layla's heart, feeling it darken.
"Enough. I will not let this day end in death."
Walking over to Layla, I pull her to her feet, looking into her eyes, I smile softly, "I won't let this be the end, not for you or Nabu."
Revealing the Golden Heart, I cast a forbidden spell, one that I never thought I would have to use.
Feeling Layla's love for Nabu, his spirit clings to her crying form, and light shoots to the sky. Looking at her, I smile, "Layla, you are like a sister to me, I can never watch you cry, never watch your happiness fade like this."
I cry, as the fragments of my mind begin to fade.
"Loving Memory."
Restoring Nabu's soul, is the last thing I remember, before everything goes dark.
