Penda POV

Faragonda congratulates us on our mission, diving deeper into who our enemy is. Lord Darkar, a man desperate for power, we are forced to stay on guard and keep the pixies safe, so they'll be staying at the school with us.

With Layla officially joining the school, I practically begged Faragonda to let her stay with me. She agrees making me smile at the new roommate.

With a bit of magic, we adjust the room to suit our styles and relax before having to focus on our studies. With Nova by my side, I play the violin, as Layla reads, humming to the soft melody with Piff laying on her head.

But as of lately, Faragonda seems to be hiding something from us. She hasn't been telling us the full story. And while the other girls don't appreciate it, I have a feeling there's more. I say nothing, as they discuss this.

We later get a message from Faragonda asking us to put on our heaviest cloaks and to meet her at the lake. We listen, making our way through the heavy rain and wind. Finding her we stand before a strange boulder within the lake.

Returning to the school we wait until the hurricane passes, and back to the lake as the sun peaks through we transform. We put all our power into it only for nothing to happen. The rain starts again, as the hurricane continues.

Returning inside, we shower and relax in our robes, relaxing after a long day. In the heart of the storm, a cloaked man appears, holding an unconscious Bloom. Rushing over to her side, we make sure she's okay, only to see that exhaustion catches up with her.

As the storm passes for good, we return to Faragonda's office. Along with our next level of classes open to us, we get introduced to the man who saved Bloom. The rest of our class gets introduced to Avalon, while he is attractive I don't find him as special as the others do.

The girls stare and giggle, awe-struck by every word he says. He's able to destroy the stone while we couldn't, he used technical magic, something we have to learn.

The other girls huddle around him, excited to get to know our new attractive teacher. Feeling Nova rest on my shoulder she whispers to me, "I don't like him very much, the stars do not align in his favor, I sense bad fortune."

I stare at the man from afar, "I'll keep an eye on him."

The bond Nova and I share grows stronger, and while the girls follow him I return to the school. Later on that evening, the party for Avalon is loud and bustling, I leave slipping into the woods with Nova to visit Noa.

Seeing him at the Lake, I give him a warm hug, happy to be by his side again.

"Evening Princess~"

I smile at him, as he turns his attention to Nova, "You look good Nova, looks like Alfea has been treating you well."

She smiles, "Yes, the planets are aligning perfectly, yes perfectly!"

I chuckle at her words, sitting on the shore of the lake I lean against his shoulder. Feeling comfortable as I tell him about the professor and how everyone's been acting.

"I see, so everyone's attention is drawn to him."

I nod, "Yeah, but Nova doesn't seem to like him. And if she doesn't then I should trust her instincts, I recently learned that they are rarely wrong."

As she uses her magic to create illusions, making the stars in the sky illuminate she huffs, "Never wrong!"

I giggle at her words, resting my head on his lap, I look at the night sky and smile.

He continues, "Sky has been worried about the new professor taking Bloom's attention. I just think he needs to talk to her."

He moves a loc resting on my face, tucking it behind my ear, "Whatever happens, I'll always be here to help you. I know you'll be able to handle whatever is thrown your way."

Feeling at ease by his words I nod, then he shifts the subject, "How's your family?"

I sigh, "Father is still distant and busy, brother is always gone and neither of them are returning my calls. Oh, and I can't forget about the gifts they have sent, makeup, clothes, things I have no care for and eventually end up in Stella's closet."

He can hear the sadness in my tone, "They'll come around, I know they will."

I nod, "What about your family?"

He smiles, "Ma is well, my sisters learning how to take charge in the shop. Only a few more years and they'll be in Alfea."

I smile, "Have they unlocked their fairy forms?"

He shakes his head, "No but I feel like it's a matter of time."

"I can't wait."

Looking up at the night sky, I lace my fingers with his.

A new day comes, and the new professor invites us to the Red Falcon opening ceremony.  Entering the school excitedly, the boys meet up with us. Seeing Noa, I smile, Nova rushes over to him, excited to see her second favorite person.

He speaks softly to her, "Glad to see you too Nova."

Leading us inside the school, Bloom rushes off to talk to Professor Avalon. In the auditorium, they introduce us to Helia and it's clear that the two are hitting it off.

Nova and the other pixies giggle at the sight.

As the ceremony starts, we watch from the front row, then the school starts to shake and rumble. Rising in the air the school becomes airborne expanding and introducing the new Red Falcon. Flooding into the new outdoor auditorium the dragons fly and circle the sky.

Relaxing under the tree, the freshmen are racing currently. The Solo Specialist, which has grown with the rebuilding of Red Falcon, we rush to the auditorium. Excited to see Noa, show off his skills.

Watching the Soloist fight, and Noa dominate the field, I smile and cheer for him. The specialists come up for there one one-on-one matches. Only for a beast of darkness to emerge. With a Lion's head and bat wings, we transform taking on the beast.

The beast deflects our attacks the boys help evacuate the crowd. Due to our attacks not doing much, I frown, seeing Noa, I call out to him, "Follow my lead!"

As Helia holds the beast back it doesn't last long, looking into my eyes he nods. He rushes through the auditorium seats, flying to Stella I smile at her.

She's confused but I lace my fingers with hers, "Let's blind this ugly beast!"

Grinning at me we shine, the monster shouts, trying to cover its eyes. Seeing Noah, he jumps over cutting one of its wings. This gives enough time to keep the beast bound, allowing the specialist to bind it.

In pain, it glows and explodes, standing I return to my normal form. Noa rushes over to me, to make sure I'm in one piece.
