Chapter 33

Penda POV

I skip a day on Alfea, to spend time in my Kingdom. My Father and I have been united since the day I stood up to him. And in this space, standing by his side, I direct the guards and lead the nobles. I stand tall, as the beacon of my kingdom.

Everything in this moment feels right, standing in the throne room, with Noa by my side.

Then I get a message from the girls, about the mutants circling the pillar of light. With the need for numbers and strength, an idea comes to mind. Kissing Noa gently, I stroke his cheek, "I feel like the battle will come to an end soon."

He smiles, "Then be careful, we still need you here."

"I will."

Transforming, I dive into my oceans, slipping into the dark sea, I feel Oshun and the other Silkies of my waters. Fading with the darkness, I whisper, "Heart of Sirenix."

Then they arrive every creature big and smiling circling me, hearing my call. Opening a portal, they and the Selkies of Upendo slip through. The warmth in my heart spreads as I think of every fragment of the ocean coming to me, ready to defend their home.

Finding the girls, with a sea of creatures and more we gather, to defend the pillar of light. Containing the swarm of mutants with the help of the Selkies, we are able to tame and confuse them. Seeing Layla get attacked and dragged away by darkness and pollution I shout, "Layla!"

I swim as fast as I can, only for a sea creature to slip under me. Holding on we speed up, allowing me to get ahead of the girls. Bloom and Nereus keep up as more sea animals from my homeworld aid them.

Nereus fights off his brother, hearing Layla's struggle she shouts out, "My home!"

That's all I need to hear, as my chest glows, the creatures of the sea, scatter, I feel them, defending their home, aiding their worlds.

As Bloom and Nereus face Tritannus, they make him release his trident, giving the final blow, I break it. Watching Tritannus lose the rest of his dark power, his hold on the oceans fades away. The mutants are free, and I am granted a wish.

His heart is black, the hearts of his family broken.

I speak softly, seeing the destruction left behind, "I wish, for the hearts of all creatures, big and small to protect their home, their planet, and the kingdoms that reside. If we stand united, we wouldn't have to go through such destruction. We wouldn't have to go through such pain."

My guardian smiles, "Your wish has been granted."

Looking at Tritannus I speak softly as he gets ushered off, "You had a chance of love, to have someone by your side, but now you have nothing."

I stand with the girls as he is sentenced to be banished, to go through the Gate of Oblivion. Bloom is granted her final wish, asking to break the Sirenix curse, and once she does, her sister is free from the curse of Sirenix.

No longer a spirit from this realm, as the planets and kingdoms come together, a new unity is formed, and peace is promised and shared.

This is the end of Trutannus, the end of the war.

Months pass, and Bloom's sister, Daphne continues to adjust to her physical body and being reunited with her family. Due to the war and the issues many worlds face, many fairies within the school were granted their Enchantix. Ushering in a new era of guardian fairies, and new girls to take their place.

Remaining at our respected home, the girls and I meet up frequently to earth, clutching up on our lives and reliving our days.

Bloom and Sky's long-awaited wedding is held, and with her sister alive and well she can rule happily with Sky. I can't already tell that in the coming years, the others will follow, standing united with their love.

Even now, as I stand on the terrace dressed in silks, silvers, and golds I hum softly.

"I guess I shouldn't be calling you Princess anymore."

Turning around, I smiled brightly at Noa, "Well, you have a few more minutes until you can't."

Wrapping his arms around me he pecks my lips. Fixing his robes I smile, "King Consort of Upendo. It suits you."

He smiles, blushing a bit, "And Queen of Upendo rolls off the tongue."

Holding my hand gentling I grin, "Shall we?"

Walking side by side we enter the throne room. Filled with nobles, royals, and friends they watch as we walk down the aisle. Smiling at my Father, we take a knee.

His voice booms, "Today we gather for the coronation of the future Queen and King of Upendo. Stepping down, as the King, I shall grant my heir and her husband the title and authority to rule over and provide for his glorious kingdom."

Slipping the crown on our heads, I smile softly before standing with him. The room of people bow, "ALL HAIL THE QUEEN AND KING."

"ALL HAIL THE QUEEN AND KING."

Stepping down the aisle, the doors open revealing the citizens cheering for our arrival. The holographic jumbo screen shows our faces far and wide while the press snaps their pictures. Smiling and waving at the people,
