"WHY DO WE KEEP GETTING CHASED!? DOES THE UNIVERSE WANT ME TO GET IN A BETTER FUCKING SHAPE OR SOMETHING!? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!" I screamed.
"JUST SHUT THE HELL UP AND RUN!" Torin yelled back. I angrily mumbled and kept running. The ogre behind us roared. I looked back.
"Shit, you guys!" I exclaimed.
"What is it?" Faith replied.
"Our buddy brought his friends!" I said. We weren't chased by one ogre anymore, but somewhere around ten!
"Fuck! This is bad!" Torin said back.
"What the fuck are we going to do?" Faith asked.
"I don't know!" Torin replied.
"Then we just keep fucking running!" I exclaimed. I pulled Faith by the hand, making her speed up. I felt butterflies in my stomach as our hands touched. But I couldn't afford to lose focus, so I had to let go. I was sad and felt like she thought I didn't like her, but I kept running. I ran harder than I have ever ran in my entire life. I focused on the road ahead of me. The spear on my back became heavier and heavier the longer I ran. The weight was killing me and I didn't know how long I could keep going. I still kept my eyes on the road, not the ground. This was a mistake. I didn't see a rock on the ground and my foot got caught on the rock and I fell face forward onto the hard, stone ground. I screamed in pain. I felt some warm liquid dripping down from the side of my head. I touched it and looked at my hand. Blood. I tried to get up, but my foot was stuck. Turned out the rock wasn't a normal, round rock. There was a slot in the stone, big enough for my foot to fit in. I pulled my leg but it was of no use. My foot wouldn't budge. It hurted like hell. I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw Torin and Faith running towards me, but they weren't that close. I turned back to see the ogres closer to me than my friends were. I noticed that Bo fell too. I was so caught up with running I didn't notice he was still on my back.
"Bo! Are you okay buddy?" I exclaimed. Bo got up, and looked confused. He looked at me and ran towards me. He stopped at my foot and mumbled something.
"Are you okay?" I repeated. Bo looked at me.
"Ba, wu?" He said. I looked at him and he pointed at me.
"Oh, me? Uhm could be better. BO WATCH OUT!" I pulled Bo away as an ogre almost stepped on him. One by one, all the ogres caught up. I was convinced I was going to die. I closed my eyes and hugged Bo, thinking this would be my last hug with anyone ever again.
"BACK OFF YA UGLY BRUTES!" Torin suddenly yelled. I opened my eyes to see Torin fighting the ogres all by himself. Faith quickly sat in front of me and broke the stone. I immediately stood up, ignoring the pain in my foot and started fighting alongside Torin. We won. I looked at the dead ogres on the ground and couldn't help but spit on one of them. Then, the adrenaline stopped working. Everything went black and I passed out.
