"Wait! I know where that is!" Torin exclaimed. Faith and I looked at him.
"What do you mean?" Faith asked. He smiled.
"In the forest, a bit further, there is an old village. People were gettin' executed over there. Lots of heads rolled there back in those days. It's now just ruins." He explained.
"Well let's not waste any more time then! Lead us there, tough guy!" I said. Torin chuckled and walked- what I thought was- West. I was excited to finally find out the next clue.
"Who's even the lad that set up this lil' scavenger hunt?" Torin suddenly asked. I locked eyes with Faith as I gulped.
"I think you need to hear the full story for that answer." I replied and I started telling him everything about my dad, about Graves and my dad's old job. Torin listened very carefully.
"Damn mate... that's sick... no person should go through shit like that." He said. I sighed.
"It's alright. I'm feeling confident that we'll find him." I replied. I smiled and looked away, shutting up the conversation.
After about 1 hour, we reached the village. All that was left were ruins and demolished structures. I saw an old guillotine. There was still blood visible on that thing. It gave me the creeps. The whole place gave me the creeps. I could feel a bad vibe hanging around the place. Faith felt the same. I could see it in her eyes. I looked around and saw other execution equipment: one of those places where you get hanged, a stake and several big knives and swords. I walked over to the stake, Torin went to the guillotine and Faith inspected the hanging-spot. I moved over every log and all the bones that were still laying there. I couldn't help but feel bad for all those people who were murdered here and then never got a funeral. I suddenly heard a sound. A soft, whistling noise. I turned around as fast as I could, but there was no one and nothing.
"Guys? I think we should hurry... This place gives me the creeps..." I said. Torin looked at me. He looked a bit guilty and terrified.
"Sorry... I forgot to mention." He said. Faith turned to him. She looked terrified as well.
"Forgot to mention what?" She asked. Torin gulped.
"That this village is haunted." He said. My eyes widened.
"WHAT? And you just 'forgot' to mention that!?" I exclaimed. I stared right at Torins guilty face. Faith looked from me to Torin and back. He sighed.
"I'm sorry... The spirits haven't been active for decades. Didn't think they'd be active now." He said. I sighed deeply.
"It's fine... can't lose our guide." I said. Torin happily smiled. I looked at Faith's relieved face. That was the reason I didn't get angry:  I wanted to see Faith happy. She saw I looked at her and smiled. Suddenly, Mo screamed. I ran towards the little creature who had wandered off to a ruined house. I saw him staring into space. When he heard me, he literally jumped onto my shoulder, shivering with fear. Faith and Torin walked towards us. I handed Mo to Faith and slowly walked toward the empty space Mo stared at.
"What are you doing!?" Faith exclaimed. I shushed her.
"Shut it, I wanna see what's there." I hissed. Faith took a step back and kept quiet. I slowly walked towards the space. I jumped around the corner. Nothing. Suddenly an ice cold hand grabbed my throat and lifted me up into the air.
