A Minor Fever

How much the master's young version attempted to teach the young woman the very thing she fears. Words of encouragement and a few dips into the salt water weren't enough however. Meanwhile everyone else had a wonderful time. Clearly one of them exaggerated.

With a weak voice Sora stands in front of Viola's door, tucked inside a thick blanket. His eyes and nose red. "You think I can still go to school?", he asks after taking a spoon of coughing syrup out of his mouth, gagging because it tastes way too bitter. Viola shrugs: "Definitely not today, you might get better this evening."
Despite appreciating her warm hand on his cheek, he moans now that he's sad about not being able to see his new friends. Ventus, Vanitas and Roxas look at him while having breakfast, keeping a safe distance.
"It's not contagious, right?", Roxas asks with wide eyes, the others immediately jumping away from Sora.

"It's just a cold!", Sora yells angrily and coughs right after, grabbing his red backpack.
"Uh? Where are you going?", Davis now asks, Sora just keeps walking: "To school!"
Vanitas stands up to grab him, pulling Sora upstairs. It's silent. Then Sora yells something. Vanitas returns while brushing off his vest. The others look at him, awaiting an explanation.
"Locked him in our room. He had it coming."

"You do realize the Keyblade can open any-", Ansem begins, but gets interrupted by Roxas' hushing.
"Evil Ansem, don't say anything.", Vanitas demands as he sits down: "Vi, can you head to the secretary and give notice that Sora isn't coming?"
Ven and Roxas nod and look at her, full of hope.
"You can't do that yourself?"
"We're minors, so it's not allowed.", Ventus explains while he rolls his eyes. That's a weird rule for sure. They get trained to fight dangerous monsters, but can't call in sick by themselves? Not to mention, the four of them went through way more than just fighting monsters.
"Unless you want to call. Pfft.", Roxas jokes to which Viola declines: "You know I'm still working on calling you guys... Do I need casual clothes?", she hints at her shoulder. Her dress may also draw some sort of attention. Ansem sips on his black coffee in a calm manner: "Use Faux, no need to waste money."
"Hey, new clothes are not a waste.", Viola replies with a sulk before her head shoots up:
"I'll go ask Even, it's worth a try. Thank you, Ansem!", she quickly says and stomps downward.

Soon after more stomping is heard, Sora angrily sprints from the hallway and lunges at Vanitas. "How could you do this to me!"
"He freed himself?!", Davis and Roxas shout surprised, attempting to free Vanitas from Sora. Ansem sighs once he finished his coffee and shouts: "Be quiet!"

Everyone freezes. The boys slowly let each other go, Even and Viola soon showing up again, her shoulder looking like nothing ever happened. Ansem's idea worked.
"Now I am quite proud since I thought it's a failed project.", Even admits. The only part of the wound still visible is the tiny bit on her cheek. It looks like a small scar, something she blushes about. "Do I look stupid?", she asks into the room. As Davis begins to smirk, Ansem immediately shuts him up.

The boys really look adorable in their uniforms. Roxas looks at Viola: "Don't draw much attention to yourself, ok?"
They walk past a stone statue, depicting two people in armor standing on a rock. Under it a wolf-like creature with many spikes.
"Of course, I'll just head back right after talking to the secretary."
"Yeah, or else you might be caught skipping school.", Ventus laughs, the others join. The boys head to a different building than her, waving at her before entering. Two others stand by the door, a blonde and an orange haired. Also in uniform.

It took a while for Viola to find the one responsible for documenting sick days, but she luckily ends up finding the room. Recieving a form, she fills it out and hands it over. The secretary stares at it for a while before nodding and asks: "You do look a bit young to be a mother."
"Oh, I'm their aunt.", Viola replies and leaves as fast as she can. This tower is really complex. It's easy to get lost in, despite signs hanging around on every corner. Viola makes it out eventually and soon gets a message from Sora.
