Unexpected Turn

At this point, Master has absolutely no idea on what is currently happening. He could only stare at the man standing before him while his mind drifted off again, an action he recently turned into some sort of a bad habit.

Angry? Annoyed? Frustrated? That expression of his is one very unlike someone like Braig. What did he say? No Name?

After a few seconds of violent shaking and mumbling, Xehanort snapped out of his trance. Braig exhales, let's go of the old man's shoulders and starts walking around the hallway. He seems tense. Almost restless.
"Listen, I really need you to bequeath me. Now.", he fletches his teeth as if he tries his best to stay calm. Xehanort's eye twitches: "Why now?"
"I have my plans. You know that."
"You mean your plans you never cared to share with me?"

"Your other self told you, huh?", he whispers to himself. That grin of his. It suddenly ticks Xehanort off. "How do I know that I can still trust you?"
"As if! Really? Another promise you can't keep?"
"I promised Braig, not you. You are still his Nobody, isn't that correct?"
"What's the difference?"

In silence, they stare at each other for a moment until Aeleus and Dilan show up. Dilan is especially cautious, his arms are crossed over his chest: "Want to ruin lives again?"
Braig directly turns towards the two guards, but suddenly sounds as friendly as possible. He greets his 'old pals' with open arms. How did he do it? This sudden change?
"Long time no see, Dilan, Aeleus! How are things goin' for ya?"
"Braig?" In disbelief, Dilan stares directly into Braig's eye. While glancing over to the master, he answers: "Your one and only."

Xehanort doesn't know what is worse, the fact that the guards believe this jerk, or that he just lied right into their faces. Without them even realizing. Is he even lying? What if it is some kind of scenario the old man hoped was indeed the case? One thing is clear, things won't be peaceful with Braig around.

"Cracks you say? This is strange. Sora, be careful when approaching those. At least until we figured out more about them.", as soon as Even reminds Ienzo how late it is both remain quiet for a moment.
"We continue tomorrow. Sora, Donald, Goofy? Do you three want to stay?", Even tries to divide the new ones into rooms, since they need to stay somewhere.

"If you'd like, Kairi, you could share a room with Viola, was it? And if Davis agrees, Ienzo can share with him. We currently have difficulties with the castle's heating system."
Since Donald and Goofy need to go back to Disney castle, they decide to leave Sora here. "Then we can shove a third bed-"

"Hey, what about good ol' me?"
Braig barges in with Xehanort in tow, Aeleus and Dilan right behind them. Sora immediately points: "Who do you think you're fooling, Xigbar?"
Braig only rolls his eye, scratches the back of his head and corrects Sora. "Gee. That's a nice welcome. Kids these days. So rude."

Ienzo frowns and starts to shake his head: "Where did you even come from? We haven't heard anything from you since the war, Braig!"
"Oh you know, I needed a little pause! Glad you were concerned about me though, I appreciate it.", he grins in a satisfied manner, finally let's go off Xehanort's upper arm and now turns towards Davis: "What happened to you, kiddo? Played football?"
Davis is confused for a moment, but he quickly realizes that this dude is referring to Davis' hair. Yet, the boy remains quiet. He didn't notice how messy it became. Sora protectively drags Davis away, while Viola awkwardly brushes over her little brother's hair.

But the scar and eye patch on this man's face catch her interest. Although, it also seems as if Braig is staring at her as well. Before she could ask about his wounds, his yellow eye wanders off.

"Braig, we thought you'd never come back, but I'm sure we'll find something for you.", Ienzo's voice sounds nervous. As if he isn't sure if he should trust Braig. Throwing his long ponytail back, the man soon boasts about what a nice vacation time he had and how he spent time celebrating his recompletion. "I would've come here earlier, but I found this cat cafe in San Fransokyo. Totally not hiding the fact I ran out of munny."
