"Just like home!", Sora yells as he views over the giant beach before instantly running towards the sea that's reflecting the evening sun's light. Oh, Sora. Even though Viola knows the truth about him, he seems unbothered by it now. Both of them seem to be glad their friendship is left the same as it was before.
The nights she spent reading a bedtime story to Davis, Sora would often listen along. Eventually, he started to pick up a few books from the worlds they visit and later, when she reads them, he always asks so many questions. It's never annoying to her. It feels more as though Sora had quickly become some sort of a little brother. The little brother Davis used to be.
Now that Master wouldn't even talk to me, I try my best to keep staying active myself. Maybe I forgot, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to apologize to Master without even knowing what I did. He just acts so different now. Overnight he just switched.
Braig often sat near him and judging by the way he always moved, he tried to motivate him, I believe. Something I need to thank him for. If I don't forget.
I haven't heard anything from Mava and the others yet. I still don't know if Azal is safe. Of course, my duty to repair the cracks is more important than my friends. We're running around almost 24/7. It's rough. But I'm hopeful it will eventually stop. Until that day, I'll keep forgetting.
Oh, I met a man named Even. I think you would like him, he's a scientist. He was disappointed because apparently I already knew him. We just 're-met' each other.
Then I learned about Sora.
"Have you talked to Kairi yet?", the blonde man asked me in a sincere tone when he walked into the kitchen area. I turned away from my notepad on the table and stirred the large, boiling pot of soup. I focused on his green eyes. They seemed familiar to me. But I was clueless of who he was. He bent down a little, I guess so we were the same height.
He didn't look sad or anything, but I felt how a negative feeling crawled up on me. He had such a calm voice when he asked me if I remember him. I'm not sure how many times this has already happened, but it was something I definitely don't want to experience too often.
He trembled as he lifted himself up again. After a while, he began to comfort me: "It's alright. I suppose you also forgot to talk to Kairi then. Is she still rather quiet?"
"We don't talk that often."
"I figured you two would get along...
Oh, well. What's this?"He tried to pull on my sleeve but I managed to retract my arm. Bruises?
"I'm sorry! It's just... I thought you're hurt?"
I back off: "I'm fine. Don't worry."Then he went on explaining who he was exactly, in case I really forgot it all. That was nice of him, although it started to get more difficult to follow the more he went into detail. He pretty much ended up explaining how the entire laboratory worked. At that point I only kept nodding.
After we met, I went back to mine and Kairi's room. I felt sad for this Even guy. I got used to making out any holes in my memories and write down who I need to ask about what. Master would sometimes take a look at my notes in silence. Is he worried?
When I closed our door behind me, Kairi was in bed, blankly scrolling on her phone with this black bodysuit left on the floor. She greeted without looking at me. I started to get a strange feeling so I asked her: "Did I do something?"
