Lessons To Be Learned

Repairs are going well. Everyone is doing their part to at least do something. It's also nice meeting all the new people, they're very welcoming and make sure objectives are being finished.

It is sweet to see the Ace Hunters helping alongside the other citizens. Julius carefully studying an updated map of the city while Aqua, who eats a halfway burned cod, watching over his shoulder.
"Is it good?", she asks with her mouth full, one fin sticking out between her lips.
"It is not bad.", a rather lukewarm response from his side but still causes Luxord to crack a grin.
Mava passes by with a few planks of wood in her arms: "Break is in an hour, get up!"
"We can take breaks when we want.", Luxord huffs to which Aqua laughs along with him.
"Really? And that info came from?"
"Me, I gave this permission to everyone.", Julius continues once his eyes move upwards from the map.

Mava sighs: "Ah. Should've known. I really cannot wait until our ranks are on the same level of authority."
"Your high expectations shouldn't be in the way right now."

Throwing her ponytail over her shoulder, Mava lifts the wood planks up a little and gets going again without another word. Aiden sweeps back his orange hair once she walks past him: "Well someone's annoyed.", his glimpse stops at the map: "A new conservatory? Now that idea I like!"

Others have already been asking who Aiden is as he's a new face to them, Sora was especially surprised to find out he's quite a big name. And in fact used to mentor Theon as well. That would explain their similar haircuts and love for bad puns, perhaps? It's quite funny to Sora. The more he thinks about this though, he shakes his head each time more questions wander into his mind. More important things should be prioritized, he reminds himself. Silently joining the conversation.

"Well, not bad.", Julius repeats. Aqua's smile turning into something more awkward as Aiden turns to her: "This is a compliment, you'll get used to it."
Open mouthed, she stares for a moment. The other two shrug, Sora's starstruck expression getting their attention.

"What is it? You never saw real Ace Hunters before?", Aiden soon flexes and Julius holds his forehead in shame. "Don't mind him, he never likes me bragging!", the younger hunter adds. Nervous, Sora laughs it off before Luxord practically leans his elbow on Sora's shoulder to apply as much weight as possible: "Pardon me, you clearly underestimate this boy. He could easily reach your position without effort."
Aiden throws his head back in amusement as he claims he'd love to see Sora try and Luxord is willing to bring up another fact, Sora stopping him: "Please stop, I was just imagining going on a quest for the first time!"

"You never went before?", Julius questions in shock as Sora shakes his head: "We did get a Licence from Hafet but... No."
The older man's demeanor turns into something even more serious than he already is. Stretching out his hand to the boy: "If you are ever deciding to go, I will gladly assist you."
Excitingly grabbing his hand, Sora thanks him over and over.

"Guys! Davis is back!", Kairi is heard yelling from the market place and so Sora sprints away to greet his friend.

"Why didn't you reply?", Viola hugs her little brother once he steps out of the summoned corridor.
"Something came up.", he answers as he gasps for air. Hugging hurts a lot right now. "Day, were you attacked?", she asks right away but stops once Sora and the others suddenly shut up. Pete stands there, frozen in place. Terra walks into him due to the cat blocking off the corridor entrance at first, but soon smiles it off: "It wasn't difficult to find them, they just waited at camp three."

"As instructed.", Davis mumbles. "Found Pete randomly at this tower and we kinda went from there. Or something like that."
Kairi joins the hug between the siblings: "Well, you're back and that's all that matters."
