"Are you a fan of fairy tales?", Mava asks the old master with an expression he cannot read. Suddenly Theon moans and corrects her: "It's folk lore!", as he stomps off in anger.
She only rolls her eyes, claiming that there was no difference and now tries to find a starting point for her explanations. How very ignorant of her.
"I don't know where to begin... Azal knows it all better than any of us-"

"Don't tell me he's the one to-?", Viola immediately questions in fear.
Hafet simply shrugs it off: "To be fair, that's exactly what he always does. Woosh! Vanished! Then comes back a day later like nothing happened. Remember? Like... Like a cat!"
A smile appears on Lady Mava's face and agrees with her brother: "He'll be alright... yeah. Still worried, though."
"I was so close to crying Mava! But if it's just missing Azal again, it's not that bad.", Hafet adds.

Xehanort can only look at him in disbelief. Thought the world just crumbled under their feet. Supposedly they only got scared? Those are strange folks for sure.

At least he calmed Viola down, who managed to escape from her father's hug in the meantime: "Why not start with the flower first?"
When she mentioned the flower everyone's enlightenment faded away. Did Sora notice it as well? The boy looks around once he softly pinches and rubs his nose again.

Like on cue young Theon reappeard with a bag and takes out a book:

"In ancient times, there was a girl.
Pale skin,
Hair as white as snow,
Her eyes as red as blood.

To them, she was not human.
Years pass, but it was as though she did not age.
Horrible has been done to her.

She swore revenge.
And the price?
An illness no medicine could heal.
Locked away, to rot by herself.
On her threshold of death, a flower grew.

She wished with all her heart,
To survive."

Hafet and Viola applaud, claiming both of them read it just like Azal.
"All of this happened centuries ago.
A few things might be lost or changed in translation.", Mava calmly says as she takes a sip out of an unfamiliar smelling tea. Xehanort not knowing if her claim was directed at him.

During the reading, Sora remained incredibly quiet. Believing the story was a little too grim for him, thoughts already come together, already theorizing.
"And the crown?", Sora speaks up. He's genuinely terrified.

Promising that story won't be as gruesome as the first one, Hafet jumps up high, stretches out his chest but immediately gets cut off by Markus, who now sits upright: "Kingdom got burned to the ground by a dragon then it got killed and some idiots thought it's a good idea to make armor out of its parts. Turns out all the stuff triggers unfortunate events. Cuuuuuurseeed."

"That's-! Just as horrible!", Sora yells as he presses his hands against his head. The Lady's face turns red while she glimpses over to her brothers: "One of the set's parts is a crown. Sadly, it is locked away in our homes basement. And what do these bafoons do?"
"We snatched the keys and dared Theon to wear it for five seconds...", Hafet finishes the story with a shameful tone, but quickly grins and adds: "It was Nahara's idea though-"
"Stop blaming it on him! He's not as much of an idiot as you!"
