Pressure

Leaving the girl's dorm, Viola sets out to return the book while Sora, Ventus, Vanitas and Roxas return home. She stops once Pyrrha storms out of the tower's entrance, followed by a panicked Glynda.

"Pyrrha?"
Teary-eyed, she just says she's alright. Glynda comes to a stand but doesn't say anything. In a comforting manner, Viola asks for permission to hug and Pyrrha accepts. The two remain on the empty campus for a moment.
"What happened?"

Not getting to answer, Pyrrha is stopped by Glynda:
"Miss Richter, we actually wanted to talk to you. Could you come with me?"
"Oh, that's... sudden? I wanted to return the book Ironwood gave me."
"That is fine, he will be there."
A strange feeling overcomes the campus. She takes another look at Pyrrha, then at the book's simple, golden cover. Hesitant to follow Glynda, Viola soon decides to move on. Getting closer to the door, sniffling is heard. Turning around only to look at a very different Pyrrha than Viola met at the dance. Her green eyes are wide open, mouth covered by her hands. It's like she's seen a ghost. The girl shakes her head frantically however Viola only remains to look at the other girl and enters the building.

The elevator rumbles and shakes. A part of modern worlds Viola still hasn't exactly grown fond of. The feeling of movement. The thought of the small room only being lifted by steel cables. It never fails to put her heart into unease.

Glynda stands in a comfortable way, something about her expression seems off. "I was told you are a trained nurse?"
"Yes."
"Interesting."
Button after Button lights up, but they don't go up.
"Isn't the headmaster's office on the uppermost floor?"
"It is, but our destination is the vault, under the school."
Viola's eyes narrow: "Vault?"

The elevator comes to a stand, the doors open smoothly. A group of men stare at the two women that have just arrived, Viola recognizes them first:
"Oh, Master, Qrow. There you are.", she steps forward: "You've been here this whole time?"
No longer able to ignore the other's stares, she grows cautious of them. Her eyes focus on Yen Sid. She doesn't say anything to him however, as much as she would love to.

"I'm sorry, did I interrupt something?", she asks as Qrow shakes his head and steps aside for her to get a good look at the Fall Maiden. Feeling as if her shoulder is about to fall off, Viola presses the book onto herself. Her fingers glide across it. A quiet squeak echoes through the massive hall.

"I apologize we meet under these circumstances. My name is Ozpin. I am the headmaster of this school.", the gray haired man says as his cane clacks on the floor. "You are the one gifted the ability to seam our reality. Please know I am honoured to meet you in person, Miss Richter."

Ironwood stretches out his hand and Viola hands the book back to him. He gulps at the sight of the cover: "Miss Richter, have you read the story of the four seasons?"
"Yes, I did. Why is it relevant now?", she asks the group before staring at the to her unknown woman again.
"You see, the four Maidens have been a part of our world for centuries. However, no one has ever seen their powers split like this. Amber here, the current Fall Maiden, was attacked-"

"With this glove.", Viola concludes. Her shoulder feels even worse now, a wave of pain overcomes her as she steps closer to the Maiden.
Can she hear them? Could it be that she is at the same place Viola was? Only being able to hear the same noise from the machine for who knows how long. This isn't right. "She shouldn't be stuck in this thing. This is horrible.", she claims.
Master slowly approaches her: "Vi please return home, I don't want you to be here..."
"Master, I want to hear them out first. Why am I here?"

Ozpin looks over to Yen Sid, who just nods.
"We asked Miss Nikos the same. But in case she denies, would you become our next Fall Maiden?"
The group stares at the girl in front of them. She breathes for a moment, until Master suddenly raises his voice: "Go on. Tell her everything you told Pyrrha."
"Oz, seriously I don't agree with keeping details hidden either.", Qrow is heard.
"There's more?", Viola asks and Qrow chimes in again: "Yup, down the rabbit hole we go."
Ozpin remains standing in front of the machine: "If you decide to take on her power, you will recieve her life as well."
