It was a challenge for me to fall asleep that night. Hearing about an unknown being appearing behind you wasn't exactly the greatest start for a new life chapter. I'm glad to know none of my friends have somehow followed us and snuck inside. As crazy as it sounds, I know them well enough to know they would do that. You know, I'm glad they worry about me way more for the past two years but sometimes they kind of... go overboard regarding keeping me accident free.

Oh, Davis is here too!
We're back together. Isn't that great?

Half asleep Viola starts to smile knowing about the comfort of Davis being by her side again. It makes her feel gladly satisfied. This feeling of comfort however is immediately stripped away right after a light pressure on her shoulder catches her off guard. A repeating poke starts off faintly, then proceeds to wander upwards.

She finally stops ignoring it and opens her eyes only to see Kairi, who's facial expression all of the sudden lights up like fire. She digs her index finger into Viola's cheek, while making a fart noise. She bent down so they could look at each other.
"Morning.", the red haired girl mumbles. Forcing herself to say something, Viola just can't resist staring into her new found friend's eyes. Their deep blue color make it easy to get lost inside them.

For a split second, Viola seems to feel what Kairi currently feels. It is sadness, hurt, Kairi gives out a mixed feeling between heart broken and anger, really. But there is also a spark inside her consciousness. A spark of strength, determination. Light? It feels like a driving force, hidden inside and waiting for the perfect moment to unlock.

Either way, Even was correct about Kairi's wellbeing. After seconds of silence, Viola finally greets Kairi back attempting to ask if something is wrong. But of course, she instantly get's interrupted. "Come on, lazy bum! We're gonna make breakfast!"
She's in such a great mood for someone this upset. Although, her behavior seems far too familiar.

The second Viola finished dressing up, Kairi almost pushes her out of their room. They proceed to go downstairs leading to some sort of "kitchen". The castle's hallways are incredibly quiet until Kairi tries to start a conversation, an action that's accidentally ignored by Viola.

What exactly happened last night? I know the master was there. We talked again. But about what? And what happened before? Come on, Vi, think..

She looks around while walking towards the "kitchen's" doorway. No Master. But most importantly, no Davis.

"I thought I at least could say hi to Day before we start-"
"Who? Oh! You mean the boy from yesterday? He's your brother, right?", Kairi starts to laugh again while setting up a bowl, taking out a wisk, flour, sugar, eggs... Ah, pancakes!
"So his nickname is Day? That's adorable!"
"Yeah! It's really fitting for him."
They keep talking and talking, while preparing a giant bowl of dough.
As Viola bends down to a cupboard for frying pans, Kairi speaks up again:
"Say, what does your Keyblade look like?"
Viola gulps and tries to lift herself up again, only to bump her forehead against the counter corner. Both flinch at the sound of one pan hitting the tiled floor. Kairi doesn't know any better than just hushing, everyone else is probably still sleeping after all.

"I-I don't know how to describe it!", Viola says and awkwardly smiles at Kairi.
She looks confused, first at Viola, her eyes then wander to the pancake, that forms little bubbles while frying: "But you'll train with us, right? Oh please, it'll be so much fun!"

Meanwhile, dull footsteps become louder and louder, until a buff man with short orange hair is revealed. His name was Aeleus, right? "Morning."
Kairi immediately gasps in disappointment: "You're late!"
"You're early, princess.", he monotonously responds while yawning and crams out a watch of one of his pockets. The two girls just laugh it off.
