Ember's POV

I’m currently at my office. Ano pa ba? Tsk. I still have my obligations for the company, so I have to. Magsasama rin naman kami ni France mamayang lunch. Miss ko na nga siya eh. I can’t wait to see him. Parang kanina lang magkasama eh, ‘no?

"Boss? Tulala ata ah." Dun ko lang nakita na nandito pala si Angie sa loob ng opisina ko.

"Ah? Ah Anj, k-kanina ka pa ba dyan?" Tanong ko dito habang nakangiti ito ng nakakaloko.

"Are you two already dating?" Sabi niya sabay turo sakin. I raised my brow as if I was curious.

"You know what I meant." He smirked and crossed his arms. Hot seat ba ‘to?

"Fine." I sighed. "Yeah, yeah. Kaya ako absent because the TWO OF US are dating." I rolled my eyes at him and he just laughed. Emphasize kasi yung TWO OF US.

"Yeah, of course. Hindi na ako magtataka kung bakit masama ang tingin niya sakin the last time he got here." He shrugged and left me, smiling to myself.

Nagselos ba si France? Ay! Ano ba 'yan, sumasaya ako ‘pag nagseselos yung iba. Tch. Pero it’s just that, it proves if he loves me, you know.

Dumating ang lunch kaya I decided na lumabas na ng office. Tinawagan na rin ako ni France at sinabi niya na susunduin niya na raw ako. Ehhh. We broke one of our deals. Supposedly, we shouldn’t work for a month. But because I’m a good and loyal daughter, I’m doing this for the company. Kaya naman talaga ni dad ‘yon e. Alright, I’m being pathetic her. I sighed in disbelief.

After a few minutes of waiting outside the boutique, he came.

Beep! Beep!

Tumunog ang busina niya and that’s when I saw him inside his car, glancing while smiling at me.

I respond with a smile as he waved at me.

"Get inside." He winked and I did what he said. I went inside his car and sat in the front seat.

"Natagalan ba ako?" Ngumiti siya at umiling ako.

"Nope. Not really." We both chuckled as he started the engine and drove off.

"So, sa’n mo gusto mag-lunch?" He asked me. Nagisip-isip ako. Saan nga ba?

"I just want a normal lunch in my condominium. I’ll cook for you if you want." Bigla namang nagtwinkle yung eyes niya. Hah! Got you choy~

"Sounds good." He said as we silently laugh.

Tahimik lang kami pagdating sa condo unit ko. I headed straight to the kitchen and got some ingredients for my menu. Actually, magluluto ako ng chicken adobo. Well, namiss ko narin kasi ang mga luto sa Pilipinas. And I’m glad these ingredients are available here in France.

I started cooking when suddenly I felt someone hugged me from the back. Alam ko na kung sino ‘to. Mmm.

"Bango ah. Pwede patikim?" I saw him pouted. Bumelat lang ako at bumalik sa ginagawa ko.

"Nah-ah. Not until it’s done." Napasimangot siya.

He planted small kisses in my earlobe down to the back of my neck. Gosh, it tickles so much.

"Choy, cut it out. Tatapusin ko pa 'to." He pursed his lips and separated from me. I felt a little disappointed because he let go.

After a few more minutes, natapos ko na rin ang adobo ko. I washed my hands as I searched for France.
