Scar's Perspective-

I whistled as I filled out the worksheet about my powers.

My power wasn't anything too special, but I was able to have the arrows that I shoot do different things.

Some arrows may stun, others will kill.

I flipped through my textbook to see what people in the past did with my powers, and they did exactly what I thought they would.

Fight.

I finished the worksheet and stretched.

I looked outside and watched as my next-door neighbor, Adam, flew up to my window and tapped on it, clearly asking if I was done and ready to hang out.

I chuckled and opened the window, letting Adam fly in.

"Thanks, I was getting worn out from that." He said, collapsing onto my bed.

"I can imagine, you've been checking if I was done yet for the past ten minutes." I said and Adam snapped and gave me finger guns.

"You can count on me!"

I laughed.

"Anyway, did you research your power?"

"Yeah."

"Well guess what people did with my power?"

"What? Just observe stuff?"

"I- well yeah, they spied, but I found a thing about this guy who would play pranks on people with his power, so I'm gonna do that."

"Oh cod, please don't."

"YOU CANNOT STOP ME!!" Adam shouted and I burst out in laughter.

He then turned invisible, and I rolled my eyes.

"You're not special, come on out!" I shouted before laughing as I felt someone grab my hood and shove it over my head.

I put my hood back down and smiled as Adam reappeared.

"But I can turn invisible and fly, I'm extra special."

"You keep telling yourself that, and maybe one day it'll come true."

"Oh- wowwwwwwww, thanks Scar. Glad to know you're supportive of me." Adam said, rolling his eyes.

I chuckled and patted Adam's back.

"I'm so proud of you." I said sarcastically.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever man."

We both laughed and then Adam tried to fly while carrying me.

He grabbed my arm and started tugging me towards the window.

"Come on!" Adam groaned, dragging me out the window.

"Adam! Stop! I don't think this is safe!"

"Eh, who cares about safety?" Adam said, pausing before grabbing my ankle and jumping out the window.

I yelped and shut my eyes.

"You can open them." Adam said, and I knew that we were flying, but I was still a bit scared.

I peeked one eye open and almost threw up.

"Can you put me down? Being upside down while my carefree friend is flying me up in the air is not the best thing for me right now."

Adam chuckled and acted like he was about to drop me, making me scream.

Adam laughed and he slowly put me down.

"ADAM!!" I shouted, embarrassed.

Adam burst out laughing.

I rolled my eyes and Adam continued to laugh.

"Sucker!" He shouted, giving me the L and I pushed him.

"GAH!" Adam waved his arms in attempt to fly, and he was able to give himself a soft landing.

"Hey! That's cheating!" I shouted, laughing, and Adam laughed as well.

We both laughed before I laid down next to him in the grass.

"You excited for the training?" Adam asked, turning to me.

"The training about our powers?"

"Yeah!" Adam shot up excitedly, "Think about it, soon we'll be out in the world, fighting evil together!!"

A smile formed on my face as I thought about what Adam said.

"That would be a lot of fun."

"Exactly! Fighting side by side!"

I watched as Adam stood up and made heroic poses.

"We'll be famous!! We'll show those villains who's boss!"

I laughed and got up.

"Hell yeah!!"

Adam laughed and we high fived.

"We'll be the best heroes they've ever seen."
