The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow across Jimin's room as he nervously paced back and forth.

He knew he had to do it, to ask his mother if he could go to Yoongi's house for dinner.

They had been friends for a long time now, and tonight was special; Yoongi's mother had extended a warm invitation, and Jimin didn't want to miss it.

With a deep breath, Jimin hesitantly walked over to his mother, who was sitting in the living room, engrossed in her book.

"Um, eomma," he began, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

"Yoongi hyung's mom invited me over for dinner tonight. Can I go?"

Jimin's mother sighed, her brow furrowing. "You know your father, he won't allow, son."

Jimin's face fell as he remembered the last encounter with his strict father.

But then, the memory of how sweetly Yoongi's mom had invited him over brought a glimmer of hope to his eyes.

He insisted to his mother again,
"I promise, eomma, I'll be back before appa comes home. Please?"

Jimin's mom sighed once more, nodding reluctantly. "Alright, but you better be back on time, and take care of yourself."

Jimin's eyes lit up with gratitude, and he hugged his mother tightly. "Thank you, Eomma! I promise I'll be careful."

With her blessing, Jimin rushed back to his room to get ready for the dinner.

He stood in front of his wardrobe, uncertain of what to wear. His heart pounded with excitement and nervousness, making the decision even more challenging.

He considered calling Jin, his reliable friend, for fashion advice, but Jin declined, claiming he was busy studying.

Huffing in frustration, Jimin contemplated calling Namjoon, but the thought of interrupting his gaming session dissuaded him.

Finally, after much deliberation, he dialed Hoseok's number, the resident fashion expert among his friends.

Hoseok answered the call with a cheerful, "Hey, Jimin-ah! What's up?"

Jimin quickly explained the situation, and at first, Hoseok teased him,

"Is it a date with Suga, Jimin?" A playful grin tugged at the corners of his lips.

"Hyung!"

Jimin whined in response, causing Hoseok to burst into laughter.

"Alright, alright," Hoseok relented. "Show me your wardrobe through video call, and I'll help you pick something."

Jimin eagerly held up his phone, displaying his collection of clothes to Hoseok.

After a thorough examination, Hoseok hummed in thought and suggested, "How about a simple white shirt and black pants? You'll look hot in that, trust me."

Jimin's cheeks flushed slightly at the compliment, and he thanked Hoseok profusely. "You're a lifesaver, Hobi hyung!"

Before ending the call, Hoseok leaned in closer to the camera, his voice lowered to a whisper.

"Have fun tonight, Jimin-ah," he said with a mischievous wink, leaving Jimin blushing and grinning as he disconnected the call.

With Hoseok's advice in mind, Jimin chose his outfit and began to prepare for what promised to be a memorable evening at Yoongi's house.

---

Jimin had just finished getting ready, wearing the white shirt and black pants that Hoseok had recommended.
