"Jimin," Yoongi whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of fear and relief.

Jimin turned his head slightly, his eyes wide and filled with a haunting sadness. The moonlight cast an eerie glow on his tear-stained face.

Yoongi took a cautious step closer, his voice gentle but urgent.

"Jimin, please, step down from there. Let's talk. I'm here for you."

Jimin's gaze wavered, torn between the abyss below and the presence of Yoongi beside him.

His voice was barely a whisper as he choked out, "hyung, I... I don't know what to do anymore."

Yoongi's heart ached as he extended a hand towards Jimin, his eyes never leaving his.

"You don't have to face this alone, Jimin. I love you, and we'll get through this together. Please, come down."

Jimin's grip on the railing relaxed slightly, and he took a small step away from the edge. The fear in his eyes began to give way to a glimmer of hope.

Yoongi reached out and gently pulled Jimin into his arms, holding him tightly as if he could shield him from the pain that had brought them to this moment.

They stood there, on the bridge in the stillness of the night, holding each other, their love serving as an anchor in the darkest of times.

Yoongi held Jimin close to himself as they stood on the bridge, the cool night air surrounding them.

His heart still raced with fear, and his eyes were filled with tears that refused to stay back.

He couldn't help but let the emotions pour out as he whispered into Jimin's ear, "I was so scared, Jimin. I thought I had lost you. What if... what if you had...?"

His voice trembled, and he couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence. The mere thought of losing Jimin was unbearable.

Jimin clung to Yoongi, tears streaming down his face. He mumbled apologies between his sobs, his body shaking with the weight of his actions. "I'm so sorry, hyung."

Yoongi softly scolded him, his voice filled with a mixture of relief and frustration.

"Are you crazy? Do you plan on leaving me all alone in this world? You mean everything to me."

Jimin's grip on Yoongi tightened as he buried his face in Yoongi's chest, his tears soaking through Yoongi's shirt.

"I'm sorry, hyung. I was just so lost and hurt. I didn't know what else to do."

Yoongi's heart ached as he continued to hold Jimin, his fingers gently combing through Jimin's mint-green hair.

He whispered soothing words, his voice filled with love and concern.

"You don't have to face your pain alone, Jimin. I'm here for you, always. But promise me, promise me you'll never do something like this again."

Jimin nodded, his voice barely audible as he choked out, "I promise, hyung. I won't. I couldn't bear to see you hurt like this."

With that promise, Yoongi gently broke the hug, his arms still wrapped protectively around Jimin.

He bent down slightly, lifting Jimin into his arms, cradling him like a precious treasure.

Jimin's sobs began to subside, and he rested his head on Yoongi's shoulder, feeling safe and cherished.

Yoongi carried Jimin back to his house, their footsteps echoing in the quiet night.

The city lights twinkled around them, a stark contrast to the darkness they had just escaped.

With every step, Yoongi held Jimin closer, a silent vow to protect him from the shadows that had threatened to consume him.

When they arrived back at Yoongi's house, Yoongi carefully set Jimin down on the sofa in the living room. His heart still raced with the fear of what had almost transpired on the bridge, but Jimin was safe now, and that was all that mattered.

Yoongi's mother came running towards them, concern etched on her face. She knelt beside Jimin and asked with a worried tone, "How's Jimin, Yoongi? Is he okay?"

Yoongi nodded, his voice filled with relief. "He's fine, eomma. I found him in time."

His mother let out a sigh of relief and smiled warmly at Jimin.

She sat beside him, her gentle touch caressing his hair. "Jimin, promise me you won't do something like that again. It hurts me to see you like this. If you ever feel sad or overwhelmed, please come to me. I'm like your mother too."

Jimin nodded softly, his gaze fixed on the floor. He felt a lump in his throat as he couldn't look her in the eye. But her words touched something deep within him, a longing he had never realized he had.

Then, to Jimin's surprise, Yoongi's mother wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a warm and motherly hug.

Jimin gasped in shock at first, his eyes welling up with tears. He had never experienced such affection even from his own mother.

Tears streamed down his face as he cried on her shoulder. She patted his back and hummed softly, offering comfort and solace.

In that embrace, Jimin felt a sense of belonging and acceptance that he had yearned for all his life.

After a while, when Jimin felt lighter and more at ease, Yoongi took him upstairs to their shared bedroom.

He made sure Jimin was comfortable in bed before lying down beside him, holding him close to his chest.

Yoongi whispered softly, his voice filled with emotion, "Jimin, promise me you'll never leave me like that again. I can't bear the thought of losing you."

Sobbing softly, Jimin mumbled a heartfelt apology, his tears staining the pillow beneath him.

Yoongi held him tighter, their bodies intertwined, finding solace in each other's presence.

As they lay there together, they both knew that they had weathered a storm that had tested the depths of their love.

Jimin had come close to the edge, but he had found his way back, guided by the love and support of Yoongi and the unexpected warmth of Yoongi's mother's embrace.

In each other's arms, they sought comfort and healing, ready to face whatever challenges life might throw their way, as long as they were together.

Yoongi whispered softly to Jimin, "You're not alone in this, Jimin. I love you, and I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

Jimin nodded, his heart heavy with the weight of their shared pain and the promise of a better tomorrow. Together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead, their bond stronger than ever.
