The night air was still as Yoongi lay in his bed, his mind filled with swirling thoughts. He couldn't shake off what Jimin had said about smoking earlier that day. It had struck a chord with him, making him question his own choices. What if Jimin refuses to be friends with him? The idea of losing Jimin as a friend weighed heavily on Yoongi's mind.

Just as he was lost in his thoughts, the familiar voice of his mother called from downstairs, "Yoongi, it's time for dinner!"

Startled from his reverie, Yoongi blinked and shook his head. He pushed aside his worries about Jimin and joined his mother at the dinner table. She noticed his distant expression and asked, "Is something bothering you, Yoongi? You seem lost."

Yoongi hesitated for a moment but decided not to burden his mother with his concerns. "It's nothing, eomma. Just thinking about school."

His mother smiled warmly, her eyes filled with concern. "Well, dear, I hope you're making friends at school. Have you made any new friends recently?"

Yoongi's thoughts immediately turned to Jimin, and a genuine smile crossed his face. "Yeah, eomma, I did. His name is Jimin."

His mother's eyes lit up with happiness. "That's wonderful to hear, Yoongi! You should invite him over for dinner sometime. I'd love to meet your new friend."

Yoongi nodded, his heart warmed by his mother's support. After spending some quality time with her, he retreated to his room for the night.

As Yoongi lay in bed, he couldn't help but think about Jimin. It was strange how he had grown so fond of him in such a short time.

He found himself looking at a candid picture he had secretly taken of Jimin in his cellphone, capturing a moment of genuine laughter.

Yoongi longed to be with him, to run his fingers through Jimin's mint-green hair as he always did. He wondered how Jimin had effortlessly left such a significant mark on his mind.

Frustration built up within Yoongi as he couldn't get Jimin out of his thoughts. He impulsively picked up his phone and dialed Jimin's number. After a couple of rings, Jimin answered, sounding groggy.

"Hello...." Jimin said with a yawn, sounding as if he were half-asleep.

Yoongi's frustration flared, and he snapped, "why why why! Why can't I think of anything else rather than you!?"

Jimin frowns in his sleep and checks as if he really is talking to Yoongi or is it someone else. Then he checks the time before speaking again.

"Are you drunk or something?"

Yoongi's mouth hung open in disbelief as he snapped again "first of all my mind is a mess here, I can't sleep and you're joking around-

Before he could continue, Jimin abruptly ended the call, leaving Yoongi shocked and agitated. "HOW....THE HELL!" He whisper yelled.

But before he could sulk and get all grumpy about it, his phone buzzed with a video call from Jimin.

Yoongi's eyes widened, and he quickly accepted the call. The anger melted away when he saw Jimin, his mint hair tousled from sleep, and he was wrapped in a blanket.

He couldn't help but notice that Jimin was shirtless beneath the covers, causing Yoongi's heart to race.

"What's bothering you, Yoongi? Why are you calling me in the middle of the night?" Jimin asked, his voice sounding deeper than usual.

Yoongi stuttered at first but managed to mumble, "I uh I-i can't sleep."

Jimin let out an exasperated huff and told Yoongi to lie down on his bed, guiding him through the process. Jimin then started saying random, soothing things to help Yoongi fall asleep.

However, sleep was the last thing on Yoongi's mind as he watched Jimin on the screen, captivated by his every word and movement. Eventually, it was Jimin who fell asleep, his words trailing off into soft murmurs.

Yoongi couldn't help but giggle at how cute and adorable Jimin looked while sleeping. His cheeks were pressed into the pillow, and his lips formed an involuntary pout.

It was in that moment that Yoongi realized how grateful he was to have found Jimin, and his worries about their friendship seemed insignificant compared to the bond they shared.

---

The sun had just begun its ascent in the sky, casting a warm glow over the city as Jimin and Yoongi sat side by side on the bus heading towards their school.

The morning chatter of fellow students filled the air, and the anticipation of another day of classes hung in the atmosphere.

Jimin was sitting quietly beside Yoongi, glancing outside the window. Noticing Jimin's sudden quietness, Yoongi thought maybe he doesn't wants to be friends with him anymore because of his smoking habit.

He hesitantly manages to speak,

"Uhm, Jimin....a-are you mad at me?"

Yoongi's sudden voice caught Jimin's attention so he diverted his gaze towards him, replying him instantly

"Why would I be? Is there something wrong?" He asked innocently.

Yoongi felt relieved as he said "No uh...you were sitting so quietly so I thought maybe you...."

Jimin rolled his eyes and said "yah, it's 7 in the morning! What do you expect? Should I dance?" Sarcasm was visible in his tone.

"I won't mind seeing you dance but isn't this the wrong place unless you have a great control over your body..." Yoongi tried to joke around to which Jimin glared making him giggle.

As they continued their conversation, Yoongi's hand disappeared into his bag, and he pulled out something wrapped in colorful gifting paper. He turned to Jimin, his expression a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

"Hey, Jimin," Yoongi said, holding out the wrapped gift. "I got something for you."

Jimin frowned, puzzled. "For me? What is it?"

Yoongi chuckled softly at Jimin's confusion. "Open it and see."

Jimin carefully tore away the paper to reveal a beautiful blue diary with a leather cover along with a chick printed on the centre of the diary. He blinked at it in surprise, then turned his gaze back to Yoongi.

"Why are you giving me a diary again?" Jimin asked, his curiosity piqued.

Yoongi's lips curled into a warm smile. "I know how much you like to write, Jimin. You're always jotting down your thoughts and feelings. But this is different from your previous diary."

Jimin furrowed his brow, still not entirely sure about the gift. "Different? How?"

Yoongi explained, "This diary is for all the good things happening in your life. You can use it to write about the people who make you happy, the moments that brings you joy, and your positive feelings about life. It's a diary of happiness."

Jimin's eyes widened, and his heart swelled with gratitude. He had never expected such a thoughtful gift from someone. It was as if Yoongi had seen a part of him that he'd never shared openly.

"Yoongi," Jimin began, his voice filled with emotion, "thank you. I don't know what to say."

Yoongi simply shrugged, a hint of a blush on his cheeks. "I just thought it would be nice for you to have a place to record all the good stuff in your life, Jimin. You deserve it."

Overwhelmed by Yoongi's gesture, Jimin leaned over and wrapped his arm around Yoongi in a warm side hug. "You're the best, Yoongi. Thank you for caring so much about me."

Yoongi wrapped his right hand around Jimin as he returned the hug back while smiling fondly at him.

As the bus continued its journey, the two friends sat there, their bond stronger than ever, and Jimin couldn't help but feel a deep sense of happiness and appreciation for the friendship they shared.

'I think about you so much.
I still refused
My heart, didn't listened to me..
There is nothing else within me; you are my life and my heart.'
