The hospital corridor was a blur of white walls and antiseptic smells as Jimin paced restlessly, his heart heavy with worry.
He couldn't shake the image of Yoongi's battered and bruised body from his mind. It was his fault; he should have protected Yoongi better.
Hoseok and Jin stood beside him, offering silent support as they waited for news from the doctor. Namjoon had gone to get some coffee, leaving the three of them in anxious anticipation.
Jimin's hands trembled as he clutched his phone, desperately hoping for any updates on Yoongi's condition. He felt responsible for what had happened, and the guilt weighed heavily on him.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the doctor emerged from the examination room. His expression was serious, and Jimin's heart sank as he approached them.
"Are you here for Mr. Min?" the doctor inquired, looking at the worried faces before him.
Jimin nodded frantically. "Yes, how is he? Is he going to be okay?"
The doctor sighed and spoke in a calm yet grave tone.
"He has sustained severe injuries, particularly to his shoulder. If left untreated, it could lead to further complications. We need to perform surgery as soon as possible to repair the damage."
Jimin's eyes filled with tears, and he clutched his chest, overwhelmed with guilt and concern for Yoongi.
"Please, doctor, do whatever you can to help him. It's all my fault. He's suffering because of me."
The doctor offered a reassuring smile and nodded. "We'll do our best to take care of him. He's in good hands."
The hospital was a whirlwind of activity as Yoongi was rushed into the emergency room, his badly bruised body a painful testament to the violence he had endured.
Jimin stood by, wringing his hands together, feeling helpless as the medical staff took over. Hoseok, Jin, and Namjoon stood close by, their faces etched with worry.
Jimin couldn't tear his eyes away from the closed doors leading to the operating room.
He was restless, pacing back and forth, the weight of guilt and fear heavy on his shoulders. He knew that this was all his fault, that Yoongi was suffering because of him.
Hours felt like an eternity as Jimin's thoughts were consumed by the memory of Yoongi's battered and unconscious form. He kept replaying the events in his mind, wishing he could have done more to protect his boyfriend.
Finally, the operating room doors swung open, and a weary-looking doctor emerged.
Jimin's heart skipped a beat as he rushed forward, Hoseok, Jin, and Namjoon following closely behind.
The doctor's face was somber, and he spoke in a measured tone. "The surgery was successful, but he will need time to recover. We'll be monitoring him closely."
Jimin's eyes filled with tears, and he clutched his chest, his voice trembling with guilt. "It's all my fault. He's in so much pain because of me."
The doctor offered a reassuring smile. "You can't blame yourself for this, young man. Accidents happen, and we're here to help him heal."
Jimin nodded, his shoulders sagging with relief. "Can I see him?"
The doctor nodded and gestured toward Yoongi's room. "Of course, he's in Room 13. Take your time."
Jimin rushed into the hospital room, his heart pounding as he saw Yoongi lying unconscious, his body covered in bandages and bruises.
Tears streamed down Jimin's cheeks as he approached the bed.
He gently took Yoongi's hand, his voice choked with emotion.
"Yoongi hyung, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault. I should have protected you better. You're in so much pain because of me."
Jimin's voice cracked as he continued, "I'm such a bad boyfriend. I promised to keep you safe, but I failed you. I love you so much, and I can't bear to see you like this."
As Jimin poured out his heart to the unconscious Yoongi, he couldn't help but blame himself for the suffering his beloved was enduring.
He vowed to be by Yoongi's side throughout his recovery, to make amends for the pain he had caused, and to cherish their love like never before.
Hours turned into days as Yoongi remained unconscious, his body slowly healing from the surgery. Jimin hardly left his side, his worry and guilt never far from his thoughts.
One evening, as Jimin sat by Yoongi's bedside, holding his hand and whispering words of love and encouragement, the door to the hospital room opened quietly.
Hoseok, Jin, and Namjoon entered, their expressions a mix of concern and support.
Hoseok spoke softly, "Jimin, you need to take care of yourself too. You've been here day and night. Suga wouldn't want you to neglect your well-being."
Jimin looked up, his eyes filled with exhaustion and sadness. "I just can't leave him, Hobi hyung. I need to be here when he wakes up."
Jin placed a comforting hand on Jimin's shoulder.
"We understand, Jimin, but you can't help Suga if you're not taking care of yourself. We'll stay with him for a while. Go get some rest and a proper meal."
Namjoon added, "And if there's any news or if he wakes up, we'll call you immediately."
Jimin hesitated for a moment, torn between his desire to stay by Yoongi's side and his need for rest.
Finally, he nodded, his gratitude evident. "Thank you, guys. Please take care of him."
As Jimin reluctantly left the room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief knowing that his friends were there to support him and watch over Yoongi.
The weight of his guilt remained, but he also felt a glimmer of hope that Yoongi would recover and that they could face whatever challenges lay ahead, together.
---
As he returned to the hospital room, his heart pounded with anxiety. He asked Hoseok, Jin, and Namjoon if there had been any change.
Their faces were somber as they shook their heads. "No, Jimin, he hasn't woken up," Hoseok replied, his voice filled with concern.
Jimin's heart sank as he entered the room where Yoongi lay, still unconscious.
He couldn't bear to see his beloved like this, paler than usual, with bruises still visible on his skin.
Jimin sat beside Yoongi's bed, taking his hand in his own trembling one. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked at Yoongi's peaceful yet fragile expression.
"H-hyung," Jimin whispered, his voice choked with emotion.
"You're so stubborn! Why don't you wake up!?" He complained inbetween his sobs.
"It's been four days hyung, and you haven't woken up yet. I miss you so much. I miss your voice, your teasing, your flirting... I miss everything about you."
He couldn't help but cry, his tears falling onto Yoongi's hand as he pleaded for him to wake up.
He knew that his love for Yoongi was boundless, and the thought of losing him was unbearable.
Just as Jimin felt like he was drowning in his sorrow, he heard a faint, weak voice that sent shivers down his spine.
"It's not nice to scold your precious boyfriend, Jiminie"
'They have been awake, they have cried
In the nights, these eyes of mine..
Why after being with you, every moment
I miss you..'- J.M
