The days after that encounter with Jimin weighed heavily on Yoongi's heart. He couldn't shake the worry that had settled within him like an unshakable shadow.

Thoughts of Jimin plagued his every moment. Was he safe? Was he okay? Was he still suffering in silence?

Yoongi made it a routine to check up on Jimin. He'd slip inside his room through the fire escape whenever he could, often bringing kimbap to ensure his friend was eating.

But those three days Jimin was absent, Yoongi's friends started to notice.

"Suga, what's going on with you and Jimin?" Hoseok asked one day during lunch. "He hasn't been around, and you look like you've seen a ghost." Jin added.

Yoongi hesitated, but eventually ended up lying. "Uhm, he's kind of sick,"

His friends nodded, and Yoongi felt a pang of guilt for lying to his friends. But he couldn't betray Jimin's trust.

One night, Yoongi found himself unable to sleep. His mind was filled with worry for Jimin, and he couldn't take it anymore.

He decided to video call him, fully expecting it to go unanswered. His heart raced as he waited for the call to connect.

To his surprise, Jimin's face appeared on the screen while lying on his bed, covered in a duvet.

He looked disheveled, with puffy red eyes that were unmistakable signs of crying.

Yoongi's heart sank, seeing him in such a state.

"Jimin," Yoongi whispered, his voice filled with concern. "Are you okay?"

Jimin sniffled, trying to hide the fact that he had been crying. "Yeah, I'm fine," he replied weakly.

Yoongi didn't buy it for a second. "You're not fine, Jimin," he said gently. "I can see that you've been crying. You don't have to pretend with me."

Jimin's eyes filled with tears again, and he wiped them away with the back of his hand.

Yoongi's heart ached for him. "I've missed you these past few days," he confessed.

"I've been so worried about you."

Jimin managed a weak smile. "I've missed you too," he said softly.

"Hyung, I can't sleep..." He admitted with tears in his eyes.

Yoongi decided to do his best to comfort Jimin. He spoke to him soothingly, sharing stories and anecdotes to distract him from his troubles. Slowly but surely, Jimin's eyes grew heavy, and soon he fell asleep.

Yoongi watched the peaceful expression on his face and felt a sense of relief wash over him.

Three days had felt like an eternity, but finally, Jimin returned to school.

The moment Yoongi saw him, a wave of relief washed over him, and he couldn't help but smile brightly.

Without a second thought, he runs over to Jimin and wrapped his arms around him in a warm, heartfelt hug.

"I missed you so much," Yoongi murmured, his voice barely above a whisper as he nuzzled in his neck.

Jimin hugged him back just as tightly, his voice equally soft, "I missed you too, Yoongi."

Their embrace felt like a lifeline, a connection reaffirmed after days of uncertainty. It was a silent understanding of the bond they shared, and it spoke volumes.

As Yoongi and Jimin stood there, lost in their moment, Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok, joined them, having noticed Jimin's return. Concern filled their faces as they surrounded Jimin.
