First of all,
I want to thank each one of you for supporting and loving this book wholeheartedly. I don't know if this book satisfied you in anyways but if it did I'm very grateful to know that.
Thankyou so much for reading until the very end and I'm so grateful to have you'll by my side.
I still remember how I used to personally message people, asking them to read this book and tbh it was so embarresing to advertise like that 😭
This was the very first book I've ever wrote in my entire life and I remember how nervous I was when I published the first chapter of this book. I always wondered whether people will like it or not but some of you'll did and thankyou for that.
To all my friends who commented, voted and hyped me through personal messages, thankyou for your constant support, I wouldn't have been able to complete this book without your support and love, so thankyou so much for that.
Now let's talk something about this book here,
I know most of you'll might be unsatisfied by the ending of this story and some of you'll might be thinking that, was killing Jimin necessary?
The answer is yes.
It was necessary for Jimin to die here because, as Wonwoo once told Yoongi that he can't protect Jimin his whole life and somewhere he was true.
There's no doubt Yoongi was like a shadow of Jimin, always being there for him, protecting him from negativity. But he's a human too, just like he had to leave Jimin alone in Seoul in order to head Daegu and take care of his grandmother, there'll be more situations like this where he had to leave Jimin alone all by himself.
Even if Yoongi tries his best to protect Jimin all his life, he would still fail at some point.
I hate to admit the fact that Jimin here wasn't strong enough to protect himself, he was emotionally drained, and even if Yoongi tried his best to heal his inner wounds, there were still some parts left unhealed.
I know, most of you'll must be thinking that Jimin should have been tried harder to be strong enough to protect himself and fight back with Wonwoo but I tell you one thing.
Being a victim of bullying and physical/verbal abuse is no joke. It's very easy to say that one should stand up and speak for oneself but trust me, coping with such situations all by yourself at such a young age is the most difficult task. It physically plus emotionally drains you and forces you to think negatively about yourself.
There are so many people out there who wants to stand up for themselves but they can't because nobody supports them, it's a sad fact but there are children who are a victim of bullying and their parents don't take any action.
So even if I let Jimin live, they still wouldn't end up together. There would still some situations occur where they had to let eachother go, and that would be much more difficult to even read or write :(
Also I want to say one more thing,
Please if you are facing any of the abuse discussed in this book, please reach out to people you trust. Remember you're not alone, AND SUICIDE IS NEVER A SOLUTION TO ANY PROBLEM.
I know you're strong, and I made Jimin like this here so that you can learn from his mistakes and change your life for better.
Do not, I repeat do not ignore the abuse if you're facing any just like Jimin did. Never let the bad take over you. You're stronger and I'm proud of you.
This book indeed has left a deep wound in my heart and I don't think I'll ever get over the trauma I myself wrote here.
But I'll always miss and cherish the bond Jimin and Yoongi shared here, for me it was the most purest and beautiful bond.
Diary Boy's yoonmin will forever be my favourite no matter how many other books I may write in the future, I'm never getting over them.
At last, thankyou again for all the love and support, I had the best time writing this book, it was a massive rollercoaster ride but I hope you enjoyed every bit of this book and please forgive me if I made any mistakes.
I'm still trying to improve and I would love to hear your response on this book.
Also, I want to know what are you all's favourite chapter or any particular scene that you loved alot from this book.
For me it was the pretend wedding chapter. I literally cried while writing that scene.
Once again, thankyou so so soooo much for everything! I hope you'll will continue supporting me in my upcoming books too.
Don't forget to take care of yourselves, drink lots of water, eat lots of fruits and don't forget to excercise.
I love you all very much 💜
