Days turned into weeks since Yoongi had left for Daegu to take care of his grandmother, Jimin found himself missing his boyfriend's presence more and more.
The apartment they shared felt emptier without Yoongi's warmth and comforting presence.
Jimin would come back from school, drop his backpack by the door, and sigh as he walked into their now lonely home.
One of the ways Jimin coped with his longing for Yoongi was by hugging one of Yoongi's shirts as he drifted off to sleep at night.
He found solace in the familiar scent of Yoongi's cologne and the lingering warmth that clung to the fabric. It was a small comfort, but it helped ease his anxiety and loneliness.
On a chilly evening, Jimin sprawled on the couch, staring at the ceiling, his phone clasped tightly in his hand.
He couldn't help but think about Yoongi, who was miles away in Daegu. With a sigh, he dialed Yoongi's number and waited for him to answer.
"Hey," Jimin greeted, his voice tinged with longing.
Yoongi's face appeared on the screen, a warm smile breaking across his lips. "Hey, Jiminie. How was your day?"
Jimin shifted, tucking Yoongi's shirt under his chin. "It was okay, but it would've been better if you were here."
Yoongi's expression softened, and he reached out to touch the screen as if he could feel Jimin's presence.
"I know, baby. I miss you so much."
Jimin's eyes glistened with unshed tears. "I miss you too, Yoongi hyung."
Even though they were physically apart, they were still each other's biggest supporters.
Late at night, when Jimin would start to doze off, he'd often fall asleep while talking to Yoongi. His eyes would grow heavy, and his voice would become a soft murmur as he snuggled deeper into the blankets.
Yoongi's heart would swell with affection. "I love you,"
"Me too," Jimin would mumble sleepily.
Yoongi smiled softly as he thought to himself 'when will you say it back Jiminie?'
"Sleep well, my angel."
And as Jimin drifted off into slumber, Yoongi would watch him with a tender smile, feeling grateful for this small connection that transcended the distance.
In Daegu, Yoongi's days were filled with tending to his grandmother.
The golden rays of the afternoon sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow in the room where Yoongi sat by his grandmother's side.
They had just finished sharing stories about their family, laughter and nostalgia filling the air.
Yet, there was something Yoongi had been wanting to tell his grandmother for a long time, something that had been weighing on his heart.
Taking a deep breath, Yoongi cleared his throat, his fingers nervously tapping the armrest of his chair.
"Halmeoni," he began, his voice quivering ever so slightly, "there's something I need to talk to you about."
His grandmother, a kind and wise woman, turned her gaze towards him, her eyes full of love and understanding.
"You can tell me anything, Yoongi. You know that."
Yoongi swallowed hard, gathering his courage. "Well, um, there's something you should know about me. Something I've been keeping to myself."
His grandmother nodded, her expression patient and encouraging.
