Chapter 30

The school day had ended, and as usual, Jimin made his way to the school gate, expecting to see Yoongi waiting for him.

They always walked home together, sharing stories of their day and enjoying each other's company. But today, there was no sign of Yoongi.

Jimin waited for a while, the minutes stretching into what felt like hours.

His usual cheerful smile started to fade, replaced by a concerned frown.

Maybe Yoongi had left early without telling him? It wouldn't be the first time. Jimin sighed and decided to head towards the nearby bus stand. Perhaps he could catch a bus home.

Just as he began to move, a warm hand wrapped around his shoulder.

Jimin's eyes lit up, thinking it was Yoongi, but his smile faded immediately when he glanced at the person walking beside him.

It was Wonwoo.

Jimin frowned, his unease evident. He remembered Yoongi's strict warning to stay away from Wonwoo, who had treated him poorly in the past.

But today, Wonwoo wore a friendly smile as he asked, "Hey, Jimin. Mind if I join you on the bus ride home?"

Jimin hesitated but, against his better judgment, nodded reluctantly. Maybe Wonwoo had changed, he thought. Maybe he deserved a second chance.

They found seats together on the bus, side by side. Jimin stared out of the window, the passing scenery a blur as he tried to make sense of this unexpected turn of events.

Wonwoo took a deep breath, breaking the silence.

"Jimin, I want to apologize for how I treated you all this time. I was wrong, and I'm truly sorry."

Jimin turned to look at him, surprise in his eyes. Wonwoo extended his hand towards Jimin. "Can we start over? Can we be friends?"

Jimin hesitated, his heart torn between the past hurt and the possibility of a new beginning.

When he didn't immediately respond, Wonwoo nodded sadly. "It's okay if you don't want to. I understand."

As the bus neared Jimin's stop, he stood up and made his way towards the door.

He couldn't shake off the uneasiness he felt about today's encounter with Wonwoo.

He glanced back at the bus one last time before entering his house, missing the familiar sight of Yoongi waving sweetly at him.

Inside, Jimin couldn't help but think about Yoongi. He wondered where he was and why he hadn't been at the school gate like usual.

Jimin had been worrying about Yoongi's whereabouts all afternoon.

It had been hours since their last contact during lunch break, and all of Jimin's attempts to reach him had gone unanswered.

Anxious thoughts swirled through his mind, casting doubt and uncertainty.

Lying in his bed, Jimin finally gave in to his anxiety and dialed Yoongi's number once more.

It rang and rang, but there was no answer. A deep sigh escaped him as he began to imagine the worst.

Is Yoongi tired of me now? Doesn't he love me anymore? Jimin's eyes started to tear up as he feared the worst.

Just as he closed his eyes to quell the rising emotions, there was a soft knock on his bedroom door.

Jimin blinked and quickly got up to open it. His mother stood there, holding a package in her hands.

"Someone left this for you," she said with a warm smile, handing the package to Jimin.

He frowned in confusion but accepted the package.

As he closed the door, he noticed that it had "for Jiminie" written on the top.

It was the affectionate nickname Yoongi often used for him. His heart skipped a beat as he wondered why Yoongi had sent him a gift.

Jimin eagerly tore open the package, revealing a beautiful dark purple suit inside.

He couldn't help but smile and feel a rush of happiness at the thoughtful gift from Yoongi. But he was equally puzzled about the sudden surprise.

Just then, his phone buzzed with a text message.

It was from Yoongi.

Jimin's heart raced as he read the words,

'you must have received the gift, right? Well then, get ready, I'm waiting for you at Namsan Tower ;)'

Jimin couldn't believe his eyes. His worries vanished in an instant, replaced by excitement and joy.

He kicked and punched the air playfully, unable to contain his happiness.

He quickly got ready, making sure to wear the suit Yoongi had sent, and headed out to meet his beloved boyfriend at Namsan Tower.

Jimin had eagerly left for Namsan Tower, his heart brimming with excitement and curiosity about the surprise Yoongi had planned for him.

As he entered the iconic tower and
ascended to its top, he couldn't help but admire the breathtaking view of Seoul city.

The city lights sparkled like stars, and it felt as if the whole world lay at his feet.

Lost in the beauty of the moment, Jimin didn't notice the warm hand that suddenly covered his eyes from behind.

Startled, he gasped, but then he recognized the touch and the scent that surrounded him.

He reached up to touch the hand and whispered, "Yoongi hyung?"

A soft "surprise" tickled his ear, and Jimin's heart soared.

He removed Yoongi's hand from his eyes and turned around to face him. The sight before him left him in awe.

Yoongi stood there, smiling warmly, dressed in his finest clothes.
His eyes sparkled with affection as he took in Jimin's appearance.

"You look ethereal in that outfit," Yoongi complimented, making Jimin giggle in delight.

Jimin couldn't contain his curiosity any longer.

"Hyung, what's all this?" he asked, his eyes filled with wonder.

Yoongi scratched the back of his neck, a hint of nervousness in his smile.

"Well, Jiminie, it's been quite a while since we started dating," he began.

"I thought it was about time I officially ask you out on a date."

Jimin's mouth hung open in surprise, and then he couldn't help but burst into a wide grin.

He pulled Yoongi into a warm hug, his heart overflowing with happiness.

"Thank you for making me feel so special, hyung" he whispered.

They broke the hug, and Yoongi led Jimin towards a beautifully decorated table.

Jimin hesitated, feeling touched by the effort Yoongi had put into this surprise.

Yoongi took a seat and gestured for Jimin to do the same.

"Hyung, you didn't have to do all of this," he said.

He grinned and replied, "Why not? I want to do everything I can for my one-in-a-million boyfriend."

Jimin's heart swelled with love as he sat down across from Yoongi. The city lights painted a romantic backdrop, and the evening held the promise of a date they would both remember forever.
