As Jimin got out of the bus, he had grown accustomed to keeping his gaze straight ahead, never looking back towards the bus as it dropped him off near his house. But today was different.

He felt an inexplicable urge to turn around. Jimin hesitated for a moment, his heart pounding in his chest. He finally yielded to the curiosity and glanced back.

There, near the rear window of the bus, was Yoongi. He was smiling warmly, his hand raised in a friendly wave. Jimin's eyes widened in surprise, and a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. Without thinking, he waved back at Yoongi.

The bus driver signaled, and the doors closed as the bus started moving again. Jimin watched it disappear from his sight, and for the first time in a long while, he felt an unusual warmth in his heart-a feeling of being cared for.

With a newfound sense of happiness, Jimin walked towards his house. As he entered, his mother greeted him with a welcoming smile, but her expression quickly shifted to one of concern as she noticed his bruised face.

"Jimin, what happened to your face?" she asked, worry evident in her voice.

Jimin hesitated, knowing that if he told his mother about the bullies, she would start worrying even more. He didn't want to burden her. So, he replied with a half-truth, "Oh, I tripped and fell at school. It's nothing serious, just a few bruises."

His mother sighed in relief, though concern still lingered in her eyes. "Please be more careful, dear."

Jimin nodded and and put his bag upon the table.

"Where's appa?" He asked.

"Oh, he's out meeting with some of his clients. He said he won't be coming back tonight so don't worry."

Jimin pressed his lips in thin line and nodded.

"Go freshen up and then we'll eat together" said his mother while completing her kitchen chores.

Jimin nodded and went up to his room to freshen up. As he stared at his reflection in the mirror, he couldn't help but think about Yoongi's smile on the bus. It had brightened his day in a way he couldn't explain.

When he came down the stairs for dinner, he was greeted with the comforting aroma of his favorite dishes, prepared lovingly by his mother. She had even made his favorite sweet dish.

Overwhelmed by the sudden care and kindness from the people around him, Jimin couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, things were starting to get better. The scars on his heart began to heal, bit by bit, as he savored the warmth of his home and the newfound friendship he was building with Yoongi.

"Maybe, my life is really getting better..."

The sun was rising, casting a soft, golden hue over the school grounds. Students hustled and bustled through the front gates, eager to start another day of classes. Jimin, with his backpack slung over one shoulder, walked towards the school as he always did. The routine had become comforting, something he could rely on. Little did he know that today would be different.

As he approached the school entrance, Jimin felt an unexpected presence behind him. Before he could react, a playful but startling voice whispered in his ear,

"Boo!"

He jumped in surprise, spinning around to find Yoongi, who wore a mischievous grin.

"Yah, you scared me!" Jimin exclaimed, a mixture of relief and amusement washing over him. This playful side of Yoongi never failed to lighten Jimin's day.
