Their hands brushed, and Yoongi's heart stopped. He held on with all his strength, feeling the weight of Jimin's life in his trembling grasp.

"Jimin! Hold on!" he cried, his voice strained with effort.

Jimin's eyes widened in terror as he dangled over the edge, his fingers slipping. "Hyung!" he gasped, his voice a desperate plea for salvation.

The rain continued to pour relentlessly as Yoongi held onto Jimin's trembling hand while Jimin clutched onto his, their other hands desperately gripping the metallic edge of the terrace.

Their grip was tenuous at best, slipping with each passing moment.

Yoongi's voice was strained with desperation as he urged Jimin, "Hold onto my hand tightly, Jimin, please."

Jimin's eyes were filled with fear, his voice quivering as he pleaded, "hyung, please save me."

Yoongi's heart ached as he fought to keep his own fear at bay.

He tried with all his strength to pull Jimin up, but the rain made their grip slippery, and it felt like a losing battle.

"Jimin, just hold onto me," he reassured, his voice unwavering. "I'll save you, no matter what."

But Jimin's gaze held a haunting understanding, as if he knew the gravity of their situation.

He looked at Yoongi with tear-filled eyes and whispered, "Hyung, promise me that you'll always remember me."

Yoongi's heart shattered at those words, and he shook his head fiercely. "No, Jimin, I won't make that promise. You're going to be okay. We're going to be okay."

Their hands slipped again, and Yoongi's heart lurched in his chest.

With renewed determination, he pulled Jimin closer, their fingers intertwined in a desperate grasp.

The rain continued to fall, as relentless as their struggle to stay connected.

Minutes felt like hours, their battle against the elements and Jimin's own demons taking its toll.

But Yoongi refused to give up. He held onto Jimin's hand with all his might, his love for him burning brighter than ever.

Jimin's strength waned, and his grip weakened. But he held onto Yoongi, his trust in him unshaken. He looked into Yoongi's eyes.

Yet, in Jimin's tear-filled eyes, there was a haunting acceptance, his voice filled with vulnerability, whispering,

"Hyung, will you please say you love me?"

Tears blurred Yoongi's vision as he choked back his emotions.

"Jimin, don't say things like that," he pleaded, his voice cracking with anguish.

Their hands slipped again, and Yoongi's heart leaped into his throat.

Jimin's eyes reflected pain and sadness as he pleaded again, "Hyung, please, just say it. Say you love me."

Tears streamed down Yoongi's face, his voice a choked whisper as he closed his eyes, unable to hold back any longer.

"I love you, Jimin! I love you with all my heart! I can't imagine my life without you!"

Jimin's lips curved into a weak, bittersweet smile, and for the first and last time he responded with all the strength he had left,

"I love you too, hyung."

But their grip faltered.

His hand slipped from Yoongi's, and Jimin let go of the terrace's edge. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as Yoongi watched in horror, feeling his world crumble around him.
