No "star" student can be broken. The things I've experienced have only proven this.
You can't lose your shine because the dimness will be reflected onto the school you attend, the darkness revealed and all its dirty little secrets unconcealed.
I expressed how I felt and got my mind manipulated. Told that I could get through this but it was also apparent that I was breaking.
The school system owns me.
They hope and pray that they've caught onto this "thing" I'm going through early on, hoping to shift and change its identity before everyone else can see what's happening.
If it gets too late.. then they'll just have to quietly fail me, hope that I leave without many words to speak so their cover can remain sweet.
I am a star.
Dimmed, cracked, with no light left to shine.
The school system wants nothing but to use me, and when that's over.. I'm not worth anything.
