Nobody else to accompany my wandering mind and racing thoughts of overthinking.
Just me.
Nobody to turn their back on me, and treat me differently around company.
Just me.
No one to judge me for not wanting to indulge in certain things.
Just me.
No one to put their feelings of distress or project their fears onto me.
Just me.
Understanding and not complaining when I need to be alone.
Just me.
Smiling at the little things and not having to remind myself about over sharing.
Just me.
Not having to worry about jealousy from my own experiencing or any other party.
Just me.
No pretending, I can be authentic and silly, with no fear of saying or doing the wrong thing.
Just me.
Treating myself and honoring who I am and all I will be.
Just me.
Overeating or lazying about, I'll understand because I know how much work I've put out.
Just me.
When I feel out of place around others and they make no effort to bring me comfort.
Just me.
Just me.
Just me.
Just... me.
When the tears begin to roll down my cheeks during prayer, and I feel as if theirs no one else to physically call on, all I have... is me.
